    Biography

    PRO: The Titans signed offensive lineman Zack Johnson to the team's practice squad late in the 2022 campaign to add depth to the offensive front. The 6-foot-6-inch, 301-pounder originally enter the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Green Bay Packers in 2020. He has also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens. The North Dakota State product has some position flexibility having lined up at tackle and guard collegiately with the Bison.

    • Johnson has an older brother, Ben, who was an offensive lineman at Bemidji State from 2012 to 2016.

    COLLEGE:
    • Was a two-time All-American at North Dakota State who earned second-team honors at right tackle in 2018 and first-team honors at right guard in 2019. Was a three-year starter who made 46 straight starts over his final three seasons. He helped NDSU set school records for rushing yards three straight years from 2017 through 2019 and was a part of five conference championships and four FCS national championships with Bison teams that went 70-5 in his career, including his redshirt season in 2015.
    • As a senior (2019), started all 16 games at right guard as the Bison went undefeated and won their third straight FCS national championship. Named All-America first team selection by HERO Sports, Phil Steele and the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Selected second team All-America by the Associated Press and third team pick by STATS. Repeated on the All-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team.
    • As a junior (2018), started all 15 games at right tackle for the undefeated national champion Bison. Was named All-America first team by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Selected All-America second team by STATS FCS, HERO Sports and Phil Steele. Received All-America third-team honors by the Associated Press and named All-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team. Blocked for the No. 1 rushing attack in the MVFC averaging 286.2 yards per game (7th in FCS) and 6.4 yards per carry en route to a school-record 4,293 rushing yards.
    • As a sophomore (2017), started all 15 games at right tackle and received All-Missouri Valley Football Conference honorable mention. In 11 regular-season games, played 592 snaps with an 81 percent technique grade and 29 knockdowns. Helped the team set a school record with 4,083 rushing yards and ranked fourth in the FCS averaging 272.2 rushing yards per game. Was named to the MVFC Honor Roll.
    • As a redshirt freshman (2016), played in eight games for the Bison in a backup role.
    • Redshirted as a true freshman in 2015.
    • Graduated from North Dakota State in December 2019 with a bachelor's degree in university studies.

    PERSONAL: 
    • Attended Spring Lake Park (Minn.) High School in Spring Lake Park where he played offensive tackle, defensive tackle and kicker.
    • As a senior (2014), was named Associated Press all-state third team and Star Tribune all-metro second team after the Panthers went 8-4 and advanced to the Class 5A state semifinals.
