Terrance Mitchell

PRO: The Titans signed Terrance Mitchell to the team's active roster from the New England Patriots' practice squad prior to Week 3 of the 2022 season. The 5-foot-11-inch, 191-pounder joins the Titans with 83 games and 51 starts of NFL experience, and has totaled 224 tackles, eight interceptions, 59 passes defensed and nine forced fumbles over seven playing seasons with the Chicago Bears (2015), Dallas Cowboys (2015), Kansas City Chiefs (2016-17), Cleveland Browns (2018-20) and Houston Texans (2021). The University of Oregon product was originally selected by the Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

• In 2020, Mitchell started all 16 games at cornerback for the Browns and totaled a career-high 65 total tackles, to go along with 13 passes defensed and three forced fumbles.

• As a sophomore (2012), received All-Pac 12 Conference honorable mention while starting all 13 games at cornerback. Finished ninth on the team with 40 tackles and third on the squad with eight pass breakups.
• As a redshirt freshman (2011), saw action in 14 games with 12 starts, totaling a team-high 10 passes defensed and ranking third among defensive
backs with 45 tackles.
