Biography
DT Shy Tuttle has played in 95 games with 65 starts in six NFL campaigns and totaled 232 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 10 stops for loss, 22 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. Tuttle entered the league as a rookie free agent with the New Orleans Saints in 2019. He played his first four seasons (2019-22) with the club, appearing in 63 games and recording 143 tackles, four sacks and nine stops for loss. After joining the Carolina Panthers as an unrestricted free agent in 2023, he played in 32 games with 89 tackles, a half sack and eight passes defensed during the last two campaigns. Prior to arriving the NFL, Tuttle starred at the University of Tennessee and finished his four-year collegiate career with 79 tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, three passes defensed, three fumble recoveries and three blocked kicks. He is a native of Welcome, N.C.
