Joe Bachie

PRO: The Titans signed Joe Bachie to the team's practice squad in mid-October and quickly added him to the active roster to add depth on special teams and in the linebacker corps. Prior to joining the Titans, the 6-foot-2-inch, 235-pounder spent five games with the Indianapolis Colts at the beginning of the 2025 campaign. The Brook Park, Ohio, native played four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals (2021-24) and also spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles (2020) and New Orleans Saints (2020).

TITANS TIDBITS: 
•     Bachie is the son of a hard-nosed, get-your-hands-dirty concrete installer and he learned at a young age the importance of hard work.  Growing up, he was constantly with his father, Joe Sr., as he coached the local high school football team and he'd hang around the weight room and sit in on film sessions.  Even when he had time off from playing football at Michigan State, Joe Sr. would take him on concrete jobs.  It was all gas,
no brakes, and Bachie credits that mindset to helping him reach the NFL.

•    The Brook Park, Ohio, native was originally signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent on April 27, 2020.
•     Waived by the Saints on Sept. 5, 2020 and signed to the team's practice squad a day later.
•     Signed by the Philadelphia Eagles to their active roster off of the Saints' practice squad on Dec. 7, 2020.
•     Waived by the Eagles on May 25, 2021.
•     Claimed off waivers by the Cincinnati Bengals on May 26, 2021.
•     Waived by the Bengals on Aug. 31, 2021 and signed to the team's practice squad a day later.
•    Activated from the practice squad to the active roster COVID-19 replacement on Oct. 16, 2021.
•    Activated from the practice squad to the active roster standard elevation on Oct. 23, 2021.
•    Signed by the Bengals to the active roster from the practice squad on Oct. 26, 2021.

COLLEGE: 
•    Spent four seasons at Michigan State (2016-19) and played in 40 career games with 34 starts.  Totaled 285 tackles, eight sacks, five interceptions, 11 passes defensed, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.  Was a two-time team captain and three-year starter at middle linebacker.
•    As a senior (2019), started eight games and totaled 71 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, five passes defensed and an interception.  Was named honorable mention All-Big Ten by the conference coaches.
•    As a junior (2018), started all 13 games at linebacker and was named first team All-Big Ten after he compiled 102 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, a sack, six passes defensed, an interception, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
•    As a sophomore (2017), was named third team All-Big Ten after he started all 13 games and recorded 100 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, five passes defensed, three interceptions, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. Became the first sophomore in program history to eclipse 100 tackles in a single season since 2008.
•    As a freshman (2016), saw action in six games and posted 12 tackles and two tackles for loss.
•     Graduated with a degree in interdisciplinary studies in social science from Michigan State.

PERSONAL: 
•    Attended Berea-Midpark (Ohio) High School, where he played linebacker and running back.
•    As a senior (2015), earned first-team Associated Press All-Ohio honors for Division I after posting 14 rushing touchdowns, while also leading the team with 89 tackles.
•    Also played basketball and baseball, and earned all-conference honors in both sports as a junior.
•     Last name is pronounced "BAH-chee."
