Jerrick Reed II

PRO: The Titans claimed Jerrick Reed II off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks midway through the 2025 campaign. The 5-foot-9-inch, 197-pounder safety looks to add depth and experience to the Titans secondary and on special teams.  The University of New Mexico product was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft and appeared in 20 games with the club.  As a rookie, was named to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie team after registering nine special teams stops.

•     Reed was not highly recruited in high school and received zero Division I college football offers, eventually choosing to play at Northwest Mississippi Community College.

•     The Olive Branch, Miss., native was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round (198th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft.
•     Waived by the Seahawks on Aug. 26, 2025 and signed to the team's practice squad a day later.
•    Signed by the Seahawks to their active roster from the practice squad on Sept. 20, 2025.
•     Waived by the Seahawks on Sept. 23, 2025 and signed to the team's practice squad a day later.

•    Saw action in 41 games with 36 starts during his four-year career at New Mexico (2019-22), totaling 267 tackles (164 solo), 8.5 tackles for loss and seven interceptions.  Played his freshman season at Northwest Mississippi Community College (2018).
•     As a super senior (2022), appeared in 12 games and posted 94 tackles, an interception, 11 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and 4.5 stops for loss.
•    As a senior (2021), named honorable mention All-Mountain West after playing in 12 games and registering 89 tackles, an interception and seven passes defensed.  
•    As a junior (2020), selected first team All-Mountain West after leading the conference with four interceptions to go along with 33 tackles and a fumble recovery.
•    As a sophomore (2019), appeared in 12 games and posted 51 tackles, an interception he returned 43 yards for a touchdown and three stops for loss.
•    As a true freshman (2018), attended Northwest Mississippi Community College and recorded 71 tackles, three for loss, a sack, a fumble recovery, two interceptions and three passes defensed helping lead the squad to an 8-2 record.
•    Majored in mechanical engineering at New Mexico.

PERSONAL:
•    Attended Olive Branch (Miss.) High School and was named first team All-State by The Clarion Ledger.
•    As a senior, posted 99 tackles, seven interceptions for 271 yards, seven stops for loss and eight kickoff returns for 120 yards. Led his team to a 12-2 record and a spot in the third round of the 6A state playoffs.
