Biography

PRO: The Titans signed Jayden Peevy as a rookie free agent following the 2022 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-5-inch, 308-pounder appeared in 58 games with 24 starts over five seasons at Texas A&M (2017-21) and totaled 137 career tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, one interception, eight passes defensed, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and four blocked kicks. The Bellaire, Texas, native was waived by the Titans during 2022 roster cuts and signed to the practice squad the following day. He was activated to the active roster for one game as a reserve on the defensive front.

•   Peevy began playing football as a junior in high school.
•   In high school, Peevy was receiving collegiate offers from smaller schools for basketball, as a 6-foot-6-inch, 250-pound player, but felt that because of his size, he would truly excel playing football.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS: 
•   The Bellaire, Texas, native was originally signed by the Titans as a rookie free agent following the 2022 NFL Draft.
•   Waived by the Titans on Aug. 30, 2022 and signed to the team's practice squad a day later.
•   Activated from the practice squad to the active roster standard elevation on Dec. 29, 2022.

COLLEGE:
•   Appeared in 58 games with 24 starts over five seasons at Texas A&M (2017-21) and totaled 137 career tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, one interception, eight passes defensed, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and four blocked kicks.
•   As a redshirt senior (2021), started all 11 games and posted a career-high 43 tackles and six tackles for loss. Added two sacks, one interception, a career-best four passes defensed and one forced fumble. Earned SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors after the team's win over Colorado, amassing seven tackles and one interception. Awarded the program's Defensive Mr. Dependable Award.
•   As a senior (2020), started all 10 games and recorded 34 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, one pass defensed and one fumble recovery. Named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week for his performance against Mississippi State.
•   As a junior (2019), saw action in 12 games and made three starts. Tallied 34 tackles, five tackles for loss, a career-high 2.5 sacks, one pass defensed and one blocked extra point attempt.
•   As a sophomore (2018), appeared in all 13 games and notched nine tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one pass defensed and two blocked field goals.
•   As a freshman (2017), played in 12 contests and posted 17 tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, one pass defensed and one blocked kick.
•   Graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in youth development.

PERSONAL: 
•   Attended Bellaire (Texas) High School where he tallied 77 tackles and 10 sacks as a senior in 2016.
•   Tabbed as a four-star recruit by Scout and Rivals and a three-star recruit by PrepStar and ESPN.
