Biography
LB Anfernee Orji was originally signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent following the 2023 NFL Draft. After spending the entire 2023 season on the New Orleans practice squad, he played in 16 games with two starts in 2024 and collected 18 tackles with two tackles for loss. In his first start at Kansas City on Oct. 7, he registered a career-high 10 tackles. He also contributed on special teams units, ranking second on the team with six special teams tackles. The Rockwall, Texas, native played four seasons (2019-22) at Vanderbilt University, where he appeared in 42 games with 33 starts and registered 272 tackles, 22 stops for loss and four sacks as a Commodore.
