Dre'Mont Jones

PRO: The Titans signed Dre'Mont Jones in the 2025 offseason to add experience and versatility to the defensive front. The Ohio State product has the ability to play up and down the defensive line. The 6-foot-3-inch, 281-pounder originally entered the NFL as a third-round pick of the Denver Broncos in 2019 and spent his first four seasons with the organization. The Cleveland, Ohio, native has spent the last two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. In his first six NFL seasons, Jones appeared in 90 games with 52 starts and recorded 210 tackles, 30.5 sacks, 40 stops for loss and 182 quarterback pressures.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 2023, Jones played in a career-high 17 games and tallied career-high 49 tackles for the Seattle Seahawks.
• In 2022, Jones tied his career-high with 6.5 sacks despite playing in only 13 games.

• Jones didn't take up football until his junior year of high school, focusing first on basketball where he was a standout player before transitioning his focus to football.
• Jones played his first high school game/scrimmgae on the Hall of Fame field in Canton, Ohio. Years later, he played his first NFL preseason game on the same field in 2019.
• Jones' dad, Sanderline Williams, was a middleweight boxer for 11 years.

• The Cleveland, Ohio, native was selected by the Denver Broncos in the third round (71st overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft.

• Released by the Seahawks on March 4, 2025.

COLLEGE:
• Played three seasons at Ohio State (2015-18), and started 37 of 39 games. Finished his career with 115 tackles, 22 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks. Started all 14 games for the 2018 Big Ten and Rose Bowl champions and 11 times for the 2017 Big Ten and Cotton Bowl champion.
• As a junior (2018), started all 14 games and totaled 43 tackles, including 13.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks. He became the first Ohio State defensive lineman in recorded history to score two touchdowns in one season, returning an interception 28 yards for a score against Texas Christian and later recovering a fumble in the end zone against Michigan State. Earned first-team All-Big Ten Conference honors.
• As a sophomore (2017), earned third-team All-Big Ten Conference honors. Played in 12 games with 11 starts and totaled 20 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack and two pass defensed.
• As a redshirt freshman (2016), named Freshman All-American and became only the third freshman defensive linemen to start 10 or more games during a freshman season. Jones started 12 games and finished as the team's leading tackler among defensive linemen with 52 tackles.
• As a freshman (2015), redshirted while recovering from a high school injury.
• Graduated with a degree in sociology in 2018.

PERSONAL:
• Attended Saint Ignatius (Cleveland) High School.
• Named first-team Division I Associated Press all-state as a senior for coach Chuck Kyle's 6-4 team that advanced to the Ohio state playoffs. He also picked up All-Northeast Lakes District honors as a senior after recording 47 tackles, 21 tackles for losses and four sacks with four forced fumbles
• Jones was considered a 4-star prospect by ESPN, Scout and 247Sports and he had overall rankings of No. 161 on the ESPN 300 and No. 169 by 247Sports
• Also played basketball at St. Ignatius.
• Was a U.S. Army All-American.
• Started playing football when he was a junior in high school.
• Has one son, Dre'Mont "Kenzo" Jones Jr. and one daughter, Eliza.
