Desmond Evans

PRO: The Titans signed Desmond Evans as a rookie free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-6-inch, 252-pound outside linebacker played in 55 career games during a five-year stint (2020-24) at the University of North Carolina. Evans is an athletic player that uses his speed and length off the edge to create havoc in the offensive backfield. He provides depth in the Titans' outside linebacker room and on special teams.

• Evans enjoys fashion. After taking a graphic design class in high school, he decided to start his own clothing brand during his freshman season at North Carolina. He founded Unknown Life apparel because when reaching for the pinnacle there are always unknowns. The clothing can be purchased on his instagram - @desmond_evans10.
• In high school, Evans was a five-star prospect tabbed as North Carolina's No. 1 player, the nation's top-ranked defensive end and the nation's second-ranked player overall according to ESPN.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:
• The Sanford, N.C., native was signed by the Titans as a rookie free agent on May 9, 2025.

COLLEGE:
• Evans appeared in 55 games over five seasons (2020-24) at the University of North Carolina and recorded 124 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss, nine sacks, six passes defensed and two fumble recoveries during his collegiate career.
• As a graduate (2024), appeared in 12 games and tallied 38 tackles, five sacks, 10 stops for loss and a pass defensed.
• As a senior (2023), started all 13 games and registered 33 tackles, three sacks, five stops for loss, seven quarterback pressures and five passes defensed.
• As a junior (2022), played in eight games with seven starts along the defensive line and posted 25 tackles, a stop for loss and three quarterback pressures.
• As a sophomore (2021), saw action in 12 games with a start at outside linebacker and collected 18 tackles, five hurries, 2.5 stops for loss and a fumble recovery.
• As a true freshman (2020), appeared in 10 games with three starts on the defensive line and notched 10 tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack, a fumble recovery and a quarterback hurry.
• Earned a bachelor's degree in communications from North Carolina in December 2024.

PERSONAL:
• Attended Lee County (Sanford, N.C.) High School where he tallied 190 tackles, 37 sacks, 60 stops for loss, 23 pressures, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries during his three prep seasons. Was invited to play in the Under Armour All-America game.
• As a senior (2019), was named a NCPreps.com all-state selection after leading Lee County to a 15-1 record, a conference championship, a region championship and a spot in the state championship game. Posted 76 tackles, 11 sacks, 35 stops for loss, six pressures, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
• As a junior (2018), was tabbed second-team ALL-USA North Carolina by USA Today after helping Lee County to an 11-1 record, a conference title and 3AA state playoffs. Recorded 69 tackles, 12 sacks, 25 stops for loss, 16 pressures, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a blocked punt.
• As a sophomore (2017), named first-team all-state after helping the Yellow Jackets finish 12-1 including a trip to the second round of the 3AA playoffs. Posted 45 tackles, 14 sacks and a fumble recovery.
• Also competed in basketball at Lee County, averaging 11 points and six rebounds per game as a junior.
• Son of Darelle Evans and Andrea Miller. Has five siblings - three sisters (Alandrea, Aspen and Alyssa) and two brothers (Gabez and Dillion).
