NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday at Vanderbilt Health Football Center to continue preparations for Sunday's season opener vs the New York Jets.
Here's a look at today's developments:
-A lot has changed around receiver Calvin Ridley.
The Titans veteran receiver said he feels positivity – and confidence around him – and he's hopeful it will pay off with the results this season.
"There's new everything around here right now – new faces, new players, new coaches," Ridley said. "I'm just excited to get started.
"I like everything (coaches) have been doing. The all have a lot of experience, especially with (OC Brian) Daboll being in our room, coach (Robert) Saleh being the head coach – and all of them being head coaches before. They're very calm. I have a lot of confidence in us. We've looked good, so just don't listen to the noise outside, just play our football."
Ridley, who was injured halfway through last season and finished the year on Injured Reserve, said he feels good and ready to roll.
Ridley said he's looking forward to seeing rookie Carnell Tate's contribution, after watching him all offseason.
"This kid is a stud, man," Ridley said of Tate. "He is ready."

-Running back Tony Pollard will be looking to post his fifth straight 1,000-yard season in 2026, after racking up 1,082 yards and five touchdowns a year ago.
Pollard said he's ready to do his part again for the Titans, and he's looking forward to getting started.
"The mindset that Saleh has, I feel like the entire team has adapted that identity," Pollard said. "And I feel like we've done a great job of showing it on the field.
"I feel great about the backs, about where we are, about the weapons that we have and what we expect to do this season."

-The Titans signed cornerback Jaylon Jones to the team's 53-man roster on Thursday, and waived defensive back Melvin Smith Jr.
Jones was on the practice field on Thursday, in No. 42.
"Blessed to get the opportunity to come here and work with the guys," Jones said. "I'm excited, man."
Jones, who played at Texas A&M, was a seventh-round draft pick of the Colts in the 2023 NFL Draft and he played from 2023-2025 in Indianapolis.
Jones (6-2, 203) logged 44 games, with 29 starts, and he recorded 162 tackles, two interceptions and 21 passes defensed. He missed the first part of last season with a hamstring injury. Jones started all 17 games for the Colts in 2024. Jones was waived by the Colts on Tuesday.
"Just (try) to get up to speed pretty quick," Jones said. "I've been in this defense before, so I'm ready to get to work."

-Defensive end Keldric Faulk, listed on the team's Injury Report with a shoulder injury, practiced in full for the second straight day on Thursday.
-Linebacker Cedric Gray (concussion) did not practice for the second straight day.
-The Jets released their second Injury Report of the week.
It looked like this: Edge Joseph Ossai (foot) and receiver Tim Patrick (groin) did not practice for the second straight day. Cornerback D'Angelo Ponds (calf) was limited for the second straight day, and running back Breece Hall (groin), running back Isaiah Davis (knee) and tight end Kenyon Sadiq (groin) were full participants for the second straight day.
-The Titans return to the practice field on Friday to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Jets.
