quick-hits-10-14-26

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Vanderbilt Health Football Center to continue preparations for Sunday's game at the Indianapolis Colts.

Here's a look at today's developments:

-Carnell Tate leads all rookies with 23 receptions and he ranks second with 273 receiving yards.

Some weeks, he has been very active, like his nine-catch, 145-yard performance against the Ravens in Week 4.

Then last week, Tate caught just one pass for six yards against the Texans.

Tate on Wednesday was asked how he's dealing with the ups and downs of his rookie season.

"I am just focused on what I can control," Tate said. "As long as you do you 1/11th, and each person does their 1/11th, we can go out there and win games."

And here's a clip of Tate at practice:

-Last week, the Titans moved cornerback Joshua Williams to the team's Designated to Return to Practice list.

This designation opened up a three-week window for Williams to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.

Williams was not activated for this past Sunday's game the Texans, and the team will reevaluate the possibility of his playing this week.

Williams was a full participant in Wednesday's practice with a quad injury.

-And now for all the injury updates on Wednesday:

-Cornerback Cor'Dale Flott (chest) was listed as a full participant on the team's injury report.

-Defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers (NIR-Rest) did not practice.
