NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Friday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to put the finishing touches on preparations for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders in Landover, Maryland.

Here's a look at some Titans topics in quick-hitting fashion:

-When the Titans traded for Dennis Daley back on August 30, the plan was for him to provide depth up front.

Things changed.

As a result of Taylor Lewan's season-ending knee injury, Daley has started the past two games for the Titans at left tackle, and he's held his own.

"I have a great group of guys helping me out, but I'm a work in progress here, and I am still learning," Daley said on Friday. "Obviously it is tough losing a key player I could've learned from, but I have all (my teammates helping me) so it's been a good transition."

Daley, who played from 2019-2021 with the Panthers before being traded, has played in 38 career games in his NFL career, with 23 starts.

Daley said he's enjoyed blocking for Derrick Henry and the team's other running backs, while protecting quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

"This team is full of a great group of guys, and they've been welcoming," Daley said with a smile. "So it has been easy to get to know these guys and get familiar with them."

-The Titans released their final Injury Report on Friday, and the team ruled out six players.

-Titans safety Amani Hooker (concussion), who missed Sunday's game vs the Colts, did not practice again on Friday and he'd been ruled OUT for Sunday's game. Hooker remains in the team's concussion protocol. He was limited in Wednesday's session before missing the final two days of the week.

-Titans linebacker Zach Cunningham, who suffered an elbow injury vs the Raiders and didn't play vs the Colts, did not practice again on Friday and he's been ruled OUT.

-After practice, I chatted with inside linebacker Dylan Cole, who has stepped up with Cunningham out.

Cole led the team with a career-high eight tackles against the Colts and he deflected Derek Carr's two-point conversion pass late in the team's win over the Raiders.

Here's a clip of the interview with Cole from the locker room:

-Titans receiver Treylon Burks (toe), injured in Sunday's game in Indianapolis, did not practice again on Friday and he's been ruled OUT for Sunday's game.

-Titans outside linebacker Bud Dupree (hip), who played just nine plays vs the Colts before aggravating his hip injury, did not practice again on Friday and he's been ruled OUT for Sunday's game.

-Titans outside linebacker Ola Adeniyi (neck), who has missed the past two games, did not practice again on Friday and he's been ruled OUT for Sunday's game.

-Titans linebacker Joe Jones (hip), injured in Sunday's game in Indianapolis, did not practice again on Friday and he's been ruled OUT for Sunday's game.

-Titans defensive back Ugo Amadi (ankle), who has missed the past two games, practiced again on Friday, in full. He's a go for Sunday.

-Titans fullback Tory Carter (neck) was on the practice field on Friday in a yellow caution jersey. He was listed as a limited participant, but he's good to go for Sunday.

-Titans guard Nate Davis returned to practice on Friday after missing Thursday. Davis was listed with a 'knee' on the report on Thursday, and the team added 'foot' to the designation and listed him as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.

-The Titans added cornerback Caleb Farley to the Injury Report (knee) on Thursday and listed him as a limited participant. Farley did not practice on Friday and he's listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.

-Center Ben Jones was also added to the Injury Report (back) and listed as a limited participant on Thursday. Jones was limited again on Friday, but he's good to go.

-The Titans added defensive back Lonnie Johnson to the Injury Report on Friday with an illness. He's QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.

-Linebacker Monty Rice, designated for return to practice off PUP on Wednesday, practiced for the third day on a row on Thursday. The designation opened a 21-day window to make a decision on Rice, and he remains on the team's PUP list. The Titans have until tomorrow to decide whether to activate Rice for Sunday's game.

-The Commanders released their final Injury Report of the week on Friday and it looked like this: S Percy Butler (quad), T Sam Cosmi (finger), WR Jahan Dotson (hamstring), LB Milo Eifler (hamstring) are all OUT for Sunday's game. WR Curtis Samuel (illness) and Charles Leno (shoulder) were full participants on Friday and are good to go. LB David Mayo (hamstring) was limited all week and he's QUESTIONABLE, along with TE Logan Thomas, who was added to the report on Friday with a calf injury.

-The Titans are scheduled to hold a walkthrough in town on Saturday before traveling to the Washington, D.C., area on Saturday for Sunday's game vs the Commanders.
