NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's home opener against the Los Angeles Rams.
Here's a look at the developments from the day:
-Titans receiver Calvin Ridley wants to move on, and be better.
"I was frustrated, of course," Ridley said of the season opener, when he was credited with three drops. "I practiced good, had a good camp. I expected to play good. … It was a bad game."
"We have to be really good for (Cam Ward). He's a really good player, and we have to be really good. We just have to make the plays for my boy."
Ridley had four catches for 27 yards against the Broncos, but days later, he's still upset about the drops.
"I was ready to play (again) that day," Ridley said. "I didn't expect to do that at all. At all. I just didn't catch (the ball). … We hold ourselves to a high standard, and you just have to make the play."
Ridley said the Rams have a solid defense.
"It's a good defense – it's the NFL," Ridley said. "I am coming to make plays, though."
Here's more from Ridley from the locker room on Wednesday:
-Left tackle Dan Moore Jr. also spoke to reporters in the locker room on Wednesday, and said he aims to play better in Week 2 as well.
"I thought myself, I didn't play up to my standard," Moore said. "I didn't play up to the team's standards. I just have to respond next week. As far as an offensive line, as far as a unit, we have a lot of things we have to clean up."
