Quick Hits on the Titans After Wednesday's Practice

quick-hits-sweat2

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Here's a look at the developments from the day:

-Titans nose tackle T'Vondre Sweat knows the challenge vs the Colts, and running back Jonathan Taylor.

"He's a great, helluva running back," Sweat said of Taylor who had 215 scrimmage yards (165 rush, 50 receiving) last week vs the Broncos. "It's great for me (to face him), because I consider myself as a run stopper. So, going against a running back like that, that's great, it's good competition for me."

Sweat is hoping to be back in the lineup on Sunday after missing the team's Week 2 game against the Rams.

On Wednesday, he was listed as a limited participant with an ankle injury.

"I feel great, I feel amazing," Sweat said. "I feel like I am conditioning well, and I'm just ready to get back out there."

Here's a snippet of Sweat on Wednesday in the locker room:

More from the Titans Injury Report:

-Right tackle JC Latham (hip), who missed Sunday's game against the Rams, did not practice.

I chatted with John Ojukwu, who played in place of Latham, in the locker room on Wednesday.

Here's Ojukwu:

-Running back Kalel Mullings (ankle) was limited in practice.

-Receiver Bryce Oliver (knee) did not practice.

-L'Jarius Sneed (back) did not practice.

-Safety Kevin Winston (hamstring) was limited in practice.

-Guard Kevin Zeitler (biceps) did not practice.

The Titans will return to the practice field on Thursday to continue preparations for the Colts.
