NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Here's a look at the developments from the day:
-Titans running back Tony Pollard has done his part to take the pressure off of rookie quarterback Cam Ward.
Pollard wants to do even more.
In two games, Pollard leads the Titans with 38 carries and 152 rushing yards. He's coming off a game when he ran for 92 yards, and he's aiming for his third straight game with 85-plus scrimmage yards.
Pollard feels like the Titans have done a decent job of taking advantage of what's been available in the running game.
"I feel like we've done pretty good, we just have to finish better, overall, as a team, second half of games, third and fourth quarter," Pollard said. "That's how we have to finish.
"Just trying to be physical, trying to impose our will on the defense, tire those guys out throughout the game. We just have to keep leaning on them, and just keep playing off each other."
The Colts present another challenge – Indianapolis is allowing just 267.5 total yards per game, which is fifth best in the NFL.
"It's the next challenge for us," Pollard said. "We just have to go out there and do it."
-The Titans updated their Injury Report on Thursday, and it looked like this:
