Quick Hits After Wednesday's Titans Practice


NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday to begin preparations for Sunday's playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Some quick hits on the latest developments …

-The Titans held a walkthrough practice that was open briefly to reporters on Wednesday. Later in the day, the team released an estimated Injury Report.

-Receiver A.J. Brown was listed as a limited participant with knee/hand injuries.

-Right tackle Dennis Kelly (knee) was listed as "Did Not Practice" on the Injury Report.

-OLB Derick Robertson (hamstring), who has not played in the past two games, was listed as a full participant.

-Guard Aaron Brewer (not injury related) was not at practice.

-Safety Kevin Byard (not injury related) was not at practice.

-Kicker Sam Sloman, who kicked the game-winning field goal on Sunday against the Texans, was on the field during a brief jogging session, but kicker Stephen Gostkowski was not spotted. Gostkowski remains on the team's Reserve/COVID-19 list.

-Running back Darrynton Evans began the week on the Injury Report with a shoulder injury. He was listed as limited.

-Cornerback Adoree' Jackson, who has played in the past three games after missing the first 13 games, was listed as a limited participant with a knee injury.

-Defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons (knee), who has appeared consistently on Injury Reports in previous weeks, was noted listed on the initial report this week.

-Center Ben Jones was listed as a limited participant, but with a hamstring injury, not the knee injury that forced him to miss practices in recent weeks.

-Guard Rodger Saffold (ankle) was listed as "Did not Practice" on Wednesday. Saffold said during a video conference call on Wednesday he plans to play despite leaving Sunday's game against the Texans early.

-Linebacker Daren Bates (hip) was listed as limited.

-Tight end Geoff Swaim (wrist) was listed as a limited participant as well.

-The Tians added WR Marcus Johnson to their practice squad on Wednesday, and removed WR Rashard Davis from the practice squad. The team also restored OLB Tuzar Skipper to the practice squad from injured reserve, and he was at practice.

-The Ravens released their first Injury Report on Wednesday and it looked like this: DE Calais Campbell (not injury related) did not practice, T D.J. Fluker (knee) did not practice, CB Marlon Humphrey (shoulder) did not practice, WR Willie Snead (ankle) did not practice, C Patrick Mekari (back) was limited in practice, OLB Yannick Ngakoue (thigh) was limited in practice, CB Jimmy Smith (ribs/shoulder) was limited in practice.

-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Thursday and Friday leading up to Sunday's game against the Ravens.
