NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to ramp up preparations for Sunday's game vs the Houston Texans.

Here's a look at the developments from the day:

-Edge rusher Arden Key is ready to finish the season strong.

Key, who has missed the past four games with a quadriceps injury, returned to practice on Wednesday on a limited basis.

"I felt good, just getting my wind back, getting my conditioning back," Key said. "It felt good to be around the team, felt good to laugh, felt good to get out of the training room."

In five games this season, Key has tallied six tackles, 1.5 sacks and five quarterback pressures.

In his career, Key has played well in the second half of seasons.

He wants that trend to continue.

"I am confident," he said. "As y'all know, I have been around for a minute, November and December is my two months where I show out. So I am confident with where I'm at, confident in the timing of it. I just have to work on my conditioning, and I am doing extra to get that up."

-Receiver Calvin Ridley also returned to practice on Wednesday after missing three games with a hamstring injury, and was listed as a limited participant.

Here's Ridley in the locker room on Wednesday:

-Safety Jerrick Reed II, claimed off waivers from the Seahawks last week, practiced with the team on Wednesday in No. 28.

Here's Reed in the locker room after practice:

-The Titans on Monday moved running back Kalel Mullings and safety Mike Brown to the team's Designated to Return to Practice list.

This designation opened up a three-week window for Mullings and Brown to practice with the team, and they will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.

Both players practiced on Wednesday, and were both listed as limited participants.

-Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday.

-Safety Xavier Woods (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday.

-Defensive lineman C.J. Ravenell (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.

-Guard Kevin Zeitler (NIR-Rest) did not practice on Wednesday.

Now, some more injury updates from Wednesday:

-DE James Lynch (shoulder) was a full participant.

-TE Chig Okonkwo (foot) was a limited participant.

-Receiver Bryce Oliver (knee) was a limited participant.

-The Titans return to practice on Thursday to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Texans.
