NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday at Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Rams at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Some quick hits on the Titans after Thursday's session:
-Running back Adrian Peterson was back on the practice field on Thursday, this time in a helmet, shoulders pads and football pants for the first time.
Once again, Peterson, decked out in No.8., drew a crowd, as cameras and cell phones were aimed in his direction during his first full practice with the team. After stretch, Peterson went through individual drills and then moved into other portions of practice with teammates.
Running backs coach Tony Dews spent extra time with Peterson, a seven-time Pro Bowler who has led the NFL in rushing three times – 2008, 2012 and 2015 – and one of eight players in NFL history to rush for 2,000 yards in a season. Peterson was signed to the practice squad on Tuesday, and he could be elevated for Sunday's game.
-Receiver Julio Jones (hamstring) was also back on the practice field on Thursday. Titans Coach Mike Vrabel said the team plans to evaluate Jones and his condition throughout the week. Jones was listed as limited on the Injury Report for the second straight day.
-Fullback Khari Blasingame (knee), who did not play in Sunday's game vs the Colts, did not practice again on Thursday.

-Linebacker Jayon Brown and outside linebacker Derick Roberson, moved to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list last month, continue to practice with the team.
This designation opened up a 21-day window for both players to practice, and they will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.
-The Titans waived offensive lineman Daniel Munyer on Thursday.
-Running back D'Onta Foreman was also on the field for the second time in 2021 after also being signed to the practice squad on Tuesday. Foreman, who has been assigned No.45, played with the Titans in 2020.
-The Rams released their initial Injury Report on Wednesday, and it looked like this: DL Bobby Brown (NIR-Personal), TE Brycen Hopkins (illness), WR Cooper Kupp (NIR-Rest), LB Von Miller (ankle), QB Matthew Stafford (Back), CB Jalen Ramsey (NIR-Rest), OL Andrew Whitworth (NIR-Rest), WR Robert Woods (foot) did not practice.
