NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game at the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Here's a look at the developments from the day:
-Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons is very familiar with Jurrell Casey.
When Simmons entered the NFL as a first-round pick in 2019, Casey was in his ninth year with the franchise.
"Coming in, that's my vet," Simmons said of Casey. "I still have a good relationship with Jurrell, and when he comes around it is always good."
Simmons, who has a career-high 10 sacks in 2025, on Sunday has a chance to break Jurrell Casey's mark (10.5 in 2013) for the most sacks in a season by a Titans defensive tackle in the franchise's "Titans era" (1999 to present).
"To be able to break his record, especially interior, it (would) mean a lot," Simmons said. "Because he's a guy when I came to Tennessee, he's a guy who helped me. He was going through a couple of injuries, and I was going through an injury, and the things he was telling me, how to lead. And eventually he'd be gone one day.
"I learned from one of the best. So, to pass him, it would be big and it would mean a lot to me."
-The Titans placed Bryce Oliver, Femi Oladejo, and edge Ali Gaye on the team's Designated to Return to Practice list on December 17.
This designation opened up a three-week window for all three players to practice with the team, and they will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.
All three players practiced on Thursday, and earlier in the week interim coach Mike McCoy said their status for Sunday will be determined later in the week.
Now, for all the injury updates from Thursday:
