NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Friday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the New England Patriots.
Here's a look at the developments from the day:
-Titans interim head coach Mike McCoy ruled four players OUT for Sunday's game:
Receiver Calvin Ridley.
Edge Arden Key.
Receiver Bryce Oliver.
Offensive lineman Blake Hance.
-Kicker Joey Slye is set to return to action on Sunday after missing last week's game with a calf injury.
"I am feeling healthy," Slye said. "Back to normal."
Earlier today the Titans waived kicker Matthew Wright, who replaced Slye in Las Vegas.
Slye talked to reporters in the locker room on Friday:
-Nose tackle T'Vondre Sweat (ankle) practiced for the third straight day.
The Titans on Wednesday moved Sweat to the team's Designated to Return to Practice list.
This designation opened up a three-week window for Sweat to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.
Sweat is officially listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game on the team's Injury Report.
"He did a nice job," McCoy said of Sweat's week. "He worked extremely hard to get to where he is. We'll make that decision in the next couple of days before we kick off."
-Cornerback L'Jarius Sneed will be the extra gameday captain for Sunday's game vs the Patriots.

-Cornerback Marcus Harris (calf) practiced on a limited basis for the third straight day and is listed as QUESTIONABLE.
-OLB Dre'Mont Jones (knee) did not practice again on Friday and is listed as QUESTIONABLE.
-Receiver Van Jefferson (ankle) practiced (limited) for the third straight day and is good to go.
-Receiver Tyler Lockett practiced for the third straight day and is good to go.
-Defensive end James Lynch (shoulder) practiced (limited) for the third straight day and is good to go.
-Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons practiced for the third straight day and is good to go.
-Cornerback L'Jarius Sneed (quadriceps) practiced (limited) for the third straight day and is good to go.
-Safety Kevin Winston Jr. (hamstring) practiced (limited) for the third straight day and is listed as QUESTIONABLE.
-Guard Kevin Zeitler practiced for the third straight day and is good to go.
-The Titans signed linebacker Joe Bachie to the team's practice squad on Friday.
Bachie, who played in college at Michigan State, has spent time with the Saints, Eagles, Bengals and Colts in the NFL. He's played in 56 career games in his career, with seven starts.
Bachie was on the practice field today, in No. 48.
-The Titans will hold a walkthrough on Saturday in Nashville leading up to Sunday's game vs the Patriots.
