NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Friday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the New Orleans Saints.
Here's a look at the developments from the day:
-Linebacker Cedric Gray will be back in the lineup on Sunday.
Gray, who leads the team in tackles, has cleared concussion protocol, per interim head coach Mike McCoy.
Gray, who missed last Sunday's game vs the Chiefs, has a team-high 140 tackles this season.
"Just happy to be back," Gray said on Friday. "Definitely sad to miss last week, but it was good to see the boys go out there and get a win. Just come back this week and continue to build off of that and help this team win this week.
"I was happy to see James (Williams) go out there and play, and do his thing, and see the team's success. It was just one week, so we are back and ready to go now."
-McCoy ruled out three players for Sunday's game:
Cornerback Marcus Harris (knee) has been ruled OUT.
Edge Femi Oladejo (fibula) has been ruled OUT.
Receiver Bryce Oliver (knee) has been ruled OUT.
-Defensive back Kemon Hall will be a standard elevation for the Titans for Sunday's game.
-Left tackle Dan Moore will be the team's gameday captain for Sunday's game.
-Cornerback Micah Robinson (illness) and edge Jaylen Harrell (personal) did not practice on Friday.
-The Titans placed Oliver, Oladejo, and edge Ali Gaye on the team's Designated to Return to Practice list last week.
This designation opened up a three-week window for all three players to practice with the team, and they will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.
All three players practiced on Friday. The Titans will have to decide by Saturday if Gaye will be activated in time for Sunday's game.
"It's TBD," McCoy said.
Now, for more injury updates from Friday:
-Cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (Achilles) practiced.
-Running back Julius Chestnut (back) practiced.
-Tight end Gunnar Helm (toe) practiced.
-Defensive end Sebastian Joseph-Day (calf) practiced.
-Guard Kevin Zeitler (groin) practiced.
The Titans are scheduled to hold a walkthrough on Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints.
