211015-quick-hit

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Friday at Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Monday's game vs the Buffalo Bills at Nissan Stadium.

Some quick hits after Friday's practice:

-Julio Jones is ready to go.

The Titans receiver said so himself on Friday after practicing in full for the third straight day.

"I feel great," Jones said after practice. "I did everything I needed to do, and I'm ready to go. … I am out here practicing, I am out here flying around, and I feel good."

Jones missed the past two games because of a hamstring injury.

Jones, who has 12 catches for 204 yards on the season, left the team's game against the Colts in the second half, and didn't return. Jones said his hamstring was tight, but he feels good now.

"At the end of the day, we just have to come out here and keep working," Jones said. "So, you can see the best version of myself, and the other guys as well. We just have to keep working and keep getting better every day. … I am putting the work in each and every day to prepare for Monday night."

-Receiver A.J. Brown, who returned to action on Sunday in Jacksonville after missing the Jets game because of a hamstring injury, also practiced again on Friday.

Brown, who has been listed as a full participant on the Injury Report all week, said he feels good after a solid week of practice as well. Brown said after the Jacksonville game he still didn't feel like himself.

"I am excited," Brown said. "We just have to come out and play. With Julio coming back this week, it gives us an advantage, because you have to respect him. But we have to make plays, that's what it comes down to.

"I had a really good week. I still have tomorrow. I just have to stack days, and win today."

-Cornerback Caleb Farley, who missed two practices earlier in the week because of an illness, returned to practice on Friday.

Titans head coach Mike Vrabel acknowledged Farley's sickness was a setback for the first-round pick, but he's likes the direction he's now headed. Farley was listed as a full participant on the Injury Report.

"He is trying to get weight back, and strength," Vrabel said of Farley. "There's a lot of things that going into that. But mentally he's been sharp, and was able to get some work in today, and will get some tomorrow."

-Cornerback Kristian Fulton (hamstring) did not practice again on Friday.

-Linebacker Monty Rice (groin) did not practice again on Friday.

-Guard Rodger Saffold (shoulder) returned to practice on Friday. He was listed as a limited participant.

-Defensive lineman Teair Tart (toe) returned to practice on Friday. He was listed as a full participant.

-FB Khari Blasingame (shoulder) was limited at practice on Friday for the second day in a row.

-Tackle Taylor Lewan (toe) returned to practice on Friday, and he was a full participant.

-Running back Jeremy McNichols (ankle) did not practice Friday after being limited on Thursday.

-Receiver Chester Rogers (groin) was a full participant on Friday after being limited on Thursday.

-Receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (hamstring) appears on the Injury Report, but he was a full participant again on Friday for the second straight day.

-Running back Derrick Henry was back at practice on Friday after getting the day off on Thursday.

-Edge rusher Bud Dupree, who has missed the last three games with a knee injury, did not practice on Friday after being a full participant in Thursday's session.

-The Titans still have to make a decision on safety Amani Hooker, who was moved to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list on Wednesday, when he began practicing with the team.

This designation opened up a 21-day window for Hooker to practice, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.

-Running back Darrynton Evans, moved to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list last week, practiced again on Friday.

-Safety Brady Breeze, moved to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" earlier this month, also practiced Friday.

-The Bills release their second Injury Report on Friday, and it looked like this: RB Taiwan Jones (hamstring), DT Star Lotulelei (rest), CB Siran Neal (illness) and WR Emmanuel Sanders (rest) did not practice; LB Matt Milano (hamstring) was limited; DE Mario Addison (rest on Thursday), OL Ryan Bates (ankle) and OL Joe Feliciano (elbow) were full participants.

-With rainy conditions in the Nashville area, the Titans practiced inside Saint Thomas Sports Park on Friday.

-Linebacker Avery Williamson, who signed with the Titans earlier this week, returning to the team that drafted him, got his new cleats. Williamson wore yellow cleats his first two days of practice with the team. The cleats were leftover from his days with the Steelers, and he said they were comfortable. Williamson's new cleats are white.

-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Saturday before Monday night's game against the Bills, although that session is closed to reporters.

-The final Injury Report for both teams, which gameday status designations, will be released after practice on Saturday.

-In addition to Titans head coach Mike Vrabel, receiver Julio Jones, receiver A.J. Brown, linebacker Harold Landry and linebacker David Long all spoke to reporters after Friday's practice.
