TEAM NOTES
- The Titans fell by a final score of 33-19 in their home opener. They will play again at Nissan Stadium next week, welcoming the Indianapolis Colts (Sept. 21, noon CT) in the first of consecutive divisional matchups for the Titans. They play at AFC South rival Houston on Sunday, Sept. 28.
- Three players made their Titans debuts: running back Jordan Mims and defensive linemen Shy Tuttle and C.J. Ravenell. It was Ravenell's NFL debut.
- With one takeaway against the Rams – an interception by linebacker Cody Barton – the Titans forced a total of five turnovers through their first two games, which also included a four-takeaway performance at Denver in Week 1. The five total takeaways matches the high for the team through the first two weeks of a season during the team's "Titans era" (1999 to present). In that span, the only other occasions in which the team forced five turnovers through two weeks was 2008 (five) and 2019 (five).
- The Titans special teams contributions included a 47.2-yard net punting average (50.0 gross), four field goals, an 18.5-yard average on two punt returns, and a blocked extra point.
- The Titans won the time-of-possession battle, holding the ball for 30 minutes and 7 seconds to the Rams' 29 minutes and 53 seconds.
- The Titans defense limited the Rams offense to 50.0 percent in the red zone (three touchdowns on six drives).
- The Titans defense limited the Rams offense to 40.0 percent in goal-to-go situations (two touchdowns on five drives).
WR ELIC AYOMANOR
- Totaled 56 yards on four receptions, which tied for the team lead and included a touchdown.
- Caught a 16-yard pass in the second quarter.
- Made a one-handed, 23-yard catch along the sideline in the second quarter. Three plays later, he scored his first career touchdown on a nine-yard pass from Cam Ward.
LB CODY BARTON
- Finished the game with five tackles and an interception.
- Picked off Matthew Stafford in the second quarter for the Titans' fifth takeaway in the first six quarters of the 2025 season. It was Barton's first interception since Dec 2, 2024, vs Cleveland as a member of the Broncos, and the sixth of his career.
CB JARVIS BROWNLEE JR.
- Tied for the team lead with eight tackles. It was the second consecutive game in which he tied for the team lead in tackles.
WR CHIMERE DIKE
- Totaled 37 yards on two punt returns, including a 21-yard long.
- Returned five kickoffs for 83 yards (16.6 avg.).
- Caught two passes, resulting in a net loss of one yard.
- Added nine rushing yards on two attempts.
LB CEDRIC GRAY
- Finished with four tackles on defense and added a tackle on special teams.
P JOHNNY HEKKER
- Averaged 50.0 gross yards and 47.2 net yards on five punts with two punts placed inside the 20.
- Pinned the Rams on their 10-yard line with a 48-yard punt in the first quarter.
- Pinned the Rams on their four-yard line with a 44-yard punt in the second quarter.
- Through two games, placed three total punts inside the opponent's 10-yard line, which tied for the most by a Titans player through the first two games of a season (Brett Kern in 2011 and 2013) since 2000.
TE GUNNAR HELM
- Posted two receptions for nine yards.
S AMANI HOOKER
- Registered his first career sack when he dropped Matthew Stafford for an eight-yard loss in the fourth quarter.
- Added eight tackles to tie for the team lead.
WR VAN JEFFERSON
- Caught his first two passes as a member of the Titans for 10 total yards.
OLB DRE'MONT JONES
- Finished with two tackles, including a stop for loss.
OLB ARDEN KEY
- Blocked a Rams extra point attempt in the fourth quarter. It was the Titans' first blocked kick since Dec. 11, 2023 at Miami when Denico Autry blocked a 44-yard field goal attempt. It was the second blocked kick of Key's career and the first since Dec. 2, 2018 against the Kansas City Chiefs when he blocked an extra point attempt by Harrison Butker.

WR TYLER LOCKETT
- Started and caught his first two passes as a member of the Titans for nine total yards.
- His first reception as a member of the Titans was a five-yarder in the first quarter.
CB ROGER McCREARY
- Ranked third on the defense with seven tackles and added a pass defensed.
- Broke up a pass on third down to help force a punt in the second quarter.
- Registered his second consecutive game with a pass defensed.
TE CHIG OKONKWO
- Totaled 35 yards on four receptions, which tied for the team lead.
- Recorded a 14-yard catch in the first quarter.
- Surpassed the 1,500-yard receiving mark for his career (1,511).
RB TONY POLLARD
- Rushed for a team-high 92 yards on 20 attempts (4.6 avg.).
- Registered his 27th career game with at least 90 scrimmage yards.
DL C.J. RAVENELL
- Made his NFL debut and posted one tackle.
WR CALVIN RIDLEY
- Tallied a team-high 57 receiving yards on three catches.
- Recorded a 26-yard reception in the first quarter.
- Added a 21-yard catch in the second quarter.
- Increased his total to 21 receptions of 20-plus yards since the beginning of the 2024 season, which tied for fifth in the NFL over that span (through early afternoon games of Sept. 14).
DT JEFFERY SIMMONS
- Recorded two tackles and two quarterback hits.
- Registered a hit on Matthew Stafford on third down to help force a Los Angeles punt in the second quarter.
K JOEY SLYE
- Made all four field goal attempts, connecting in order from 55, 37, 57 and 35 yards. He added an extra point.
- Kicked two of the 10 longest field goals in franchise history in the game.
- Joined Brandon Aubrey (2024), John Kasay (1996) and Nick Lowery (1985) as the only NFL players since the 1970 merger to make four field goals in each of the first two weeks of a season.
- Became the first player in franchise history to record two field goals of 55-plus yards in the same game.
- At the time, his 55-yard field goal in the second quarter tied (four previous) for the fifth-longest field goal in franchise history.
- Drilled a 37-yard field goal as time expired in the first half.
- Recorded a 57-yard field goal in the third quarter, the second-longest in franchise history. The only field goal from a longer distance was Rob Bironas' 60-yard game-winner against Indianapolis on Dec. 3, 2006.
- Increased his career total to 10 field goals of 55 yards or longer.
- For the first time in his career, he recorded back-to-back performances with four field goals.
- For the first time in his career, he reached three consecutive games with at least three field goals made. He connected on a trio of field goals in the 2024 season finale with the Patriots before making four field goals in Week 1 of 2025 at Denver.
- In his first two games with the Titans, he connected on all eight field goal attempts with makes in six of the team's eight quarters played in 2025.
- His eight field goals established a new franchise high for any Titans/Oilers kicker in the first two games of a season, breaking the mark of seven field goals by Nick Folk in 2023.

- Recorded a tackle in his Titans debut.
QB CAM WARD
- Joined Marcus Mariota (2015) as the only rookie quarterbacks in franchise history to start the first two games of a season.
- Completed 19 of 33 passes for 175 yards and one touchdown (82.3 passer rating), and he added four rushing attempts for eight yards.
- In the first half, his statistics included 10 completions, 17 attempts, 123 yards, 1 touchdown, no interceptions and a 100.9 passer rating. He also rushed for two first downs in the first half.
- Delivered a 26-yard pass to Calvin Ridley in the first quarter and added a 21-yarder to Ridley in the second quarter.
- Rushed for three yards and a first down on fourth-and-one in the second quarter.
- Completed his first career touchdown pass with a nine-yard toss across the field to Elic Ayomanor late in the second quarter.
