TEAM NOTES
- The Titans played their final road game until Dec. 7 at Cleveland. Until then, they will have four home games and a bye. They host the Los Angeles Chargers next Sunday at Nissan Stadium (noon CT).
- Eight rookies played for the Titans, marking the sixth time in eight games that at least eight rookies participated.
- Two players made their Titans debut at Indianapolis: wide receiver James Proche II and linebacker Joe Bachie.
- The Titans were penalized only three times for the second consecutive week. It marked the team's first back-to-back games with three or fewer penalties since Dec. 20-27, 2020.
- The Titans won the time-of-possession battle at Indianapolis with a season-best time of possession of 34 minutes and 21 seconds.
TEAM NOTES – OFFENSE
- For the second time in 2025 (Oct. 5 at Arizona), four rookies started on offense. At Indianapolis, quarterback Cam Ward, tight end Gunnar Helm, and wide receivers Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike were all in the starting lineup, marking the first time that foursome started the same game.
- Titans rookies Chimere Dike, Elic Ayomanor and Gunnar Helm combined for 13 receptions, 168 receiving yards and one touchdown. The yardage total was the third-highest mark of the 2025 NFL season by a rookie class.
- For the first time in the franchise's "Titans era" (1999 to present), the Titans rookie class accounted for a minimum of 10 receptions and 150 yards in a game (13 for 168).
TEAM NOTES – DEFENSE
- The Titans recorded three sacks against the Colts, the most allowed by the Indianapolis offense in 2025. Prior to the game, the Colts had allowed six sacks all season and no more than two sacks in any game.
- After four sacks in Week 7 vs. New England, Tennessee logged consecutive games of three or more total sacks for the first time since Week 3-4 of the 2023 season.
- Tennessee held the Colts to three third-down conversions on nine attempts. The 33.3 percent third-down conversion rate was the Colts' second-lowest figure of the season, only higher than a 25 percent rate at Tennessee on Sept. 21.
WR ELIC AYOMANOR
- Totaled 52 yards on four receptions.
- Logged his eighth consecutive game to begin his career with at least two receptions, joining Tetairoa McMillan and Emeka Egbuka as the NFL's only rookie wide receivers to accomplish the feat.
- Caught a 26-yard pass from Cam Ward in the second quarter.
CB DARRELL BAKER JR.
- Tied for the team lead with five tackles before leaving the game early with an injury.
LB CODY BARTON
- Logged his 50th career start.
- Recorded three tackles, including a stop for loss.
- Added a pass defensed, breaking up a pass intended for Michael Pittman Jr. in the second quarter.
WR CHIMERE DIKE
- Led the team with seven receptions and 93 receiving yards.
- Added 175 yards on seven kickoff returns (25.0 avg.).
- His 93 receiving yards were the most by a Titans rookie since Treylon Burks' 111 at Green Bay on Nov. 17, 2022.
- Became the first rookie for the Titans to register back-to-back games with at least 70 yards receiving since Treylon Burks in Week 11-12 of the 2022 season.
- Caught a 21-yard pass to convert a third-and-10 in the first quarter.
- Increased his season total to an NFL-high 1,294 all-purpose yards, including 991 kickoff return yards, 97 punt return yards, 189 receiving yards and 17 rushing yards.
- His 1,294 all-purpose yards are the most for the Titans through eight games since Derrick Mason's 1,382 in 2000.
- His 1,294 all-purpose yards are the most by any NFL player through eight games since New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles had 1,331 in 2011.
LB CEDRIC GRAY
- Tied for the team lead with five tackles, including a stop for loss.
- Through the afternoon slate of games on Oct. 26, he ranked fifth in the NFL with 71 tackles in 2025.
CB MARCUS HARRIS
- Recorded his first career tackles on defense, finishing with two stops.
P JOHNNY HEKKER
- Punted five times for a 43.0-yard average (32.4 net avg.) with one punt placed inside the 20.
- Added a special teams tackle.
- Became the 27th NFL player to reach 1,000 career punts (1,002).
TE GUNNAR HELM
- Totaled 23 yards and a touchdown on a pair of receptions.
- Scored his first career touchdown on a one-yard catch in the second quarter.
- Hauled in a pass for 22 yards in the fourth quarter.
S AMANI HOOKER
- Recorded a season-high and career-best-tying three passes defensed. The number matched his personal best against New England on Nov. 3, 2024.
- Added five tackles to tie for the team lead.
WR VAN JEFFERSON
- A six-yard reception in the third quarter was the 150th catch of his career.
OLB DRE'MONT JONES
- Logged his third straight game with a sack by bringing down Daniel Jones in the second quarter. It marked the first such streak of his career.
- Finished with two tackles and two quarterback hits.
CB ROGER McCREARY
- Registered his first sack of the season, bringing down Daniel Jones for a loss of nine on third down in the second quarter.
- Added three tackles.
TE CHIG OKONKWO
- Totaled 53 yards on four receptions.
- Picked up 23 yards on a reception in the third quarter.
RB TONY POLLARD
- Rushed for 44 yards on a team-high 11 attempts and added a nine-yard reception.
DL C.J. RAVENELL
- Logged his first career start.
DT JEFFERY SIMMONS
- Inactive at Indianapolis, ending his streak of 20 consecutive games played and started. It was the second-longest such streak of his career.
RB TYJAE SPEARS
- Led the offense with 59 rushing yards and a touchdown on nine attempts and added three receptions for 23 yards.
- His 82 scrimmage yards ranked fifth for his career.
- Scored his seventh career rushing touchdown (first of 2025) on a three-yard run in the fourth quarter.
- Converted a third-and-six with a career-long 41-yard attempt in the second quarter. It was the team's longest rushing attempt since Tony Pollard broke for 41 yards against Miami on Aug. 30, 2024.
NT T'VONDRE SWEAT
- Recorded a sack of Daniel Jones in the first quarter. It was his second consecutive game with a sack, the first such streak of his career.
- Added two tackles.
QB CAM WARD
- Completed 22-of-38 passes for 259 yards and a touchdown.
- Became the first Titans quarterback since Marcus Mariota in 2015 to have 20 or more completions in four consecutive team games.
- Eclipsed the 250-yard passing mark for the third time in four games.
- Threw a 21-yard pass to Chimere Dike to convert a third-and-10 in the first quarter and a 26-yard pass to Elic Ayomanor in the second quarter.
- Completed a 23-yard pass to Chig Okonkwo in the third quarter and a 22-yard strike to Gunnar Helm in the fourth quarter.
- Became the first rookie quarterback in franchise history to start the first eight games of a season. Previously, Marcus Mariota held the franchise's longest rookie streak to begin a season with starts in the first five games as a rookie in 2015.
