TEAM NOTES

  • With the Titans' 2025 season coming to a close, their opponents for 2026 are now set. In addition to two games against their divisional opponents, the Titans will play every team from the AFC North and the NFC East, plus three opponents based upon the final divisional standings. The 2026 home schedule includes Jacksonville, Houston, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington and the New York Jets. On the road, the Titans will face Jacksonville, Houston, Indianapolis, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Dallas, the New York Giants, Las Vegas and Detroit. The NFL typically announces the full regular season and preseason schedules in May.
  • Four Titans recorded starts in all 17 games in 2025: linebacker Cody Barton, running back Tony Pollard, left guard Peter Skoronski and quarterback Cam Ward. From the group, Pollard (2023) and Skoronski (2024) had previously recorded 17 starts in a single campaign.
  • Four players made their Titans debut at Jacksonville: quarterback Brandon Allen, safety Erick Hallett II, defensive tackle Cam Horsley and tight end Cole Turner. With their participation, the Titans had 76 players participate in at least one game in 2025.
  • Elic Ayomanor (41 receptions for 515 yards, four touchdowns) and Chimere Dike (48 for 423 yards, four touchdowns) became the third rookie wide receiver duo in NFL history to each record 40 receptions, 400 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns. The only previous occasions were 1960, when the Oilers duo of Charlie Hennigan and Bill Groman accomplished the feat, and 1999, when the Cleveland Browns' Kevin Johnson and Darrin Chiaverini matched it.
  • All nine Titans draft picks in 2025 appeared in at least six games: first-round quarterback Cam Ward (17 games, 17 starts), second-round outside linebacker Oluwafemi Oladejo (six games, two starts), third-round safety Kevin Winston Jr. (10 games, six starts), fourth-round wide receiver Chimere Dike (17 games, 10 starts), fourth-round tight end Gunnar Helm (16 games, 10 starts), fourth-round wide receiver Elic Ayomanor (16 games, 14 starts), fifth-round guard Jackson Slater (12 games), sixth-round cornerback Marcus Harris (14 games, five starts) and sixth-round running back Kalel Mullings (nine games).
  • Eight rookies played for the Titans at Jacksonville with four rookie starters (quarterback Cam Ward, cornerback Micah Robinson and wide receivers Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike). It was the 10th consecutive week in which the team had at least eight rookie participants and at least four rookie starters.
  • The Titans totaled 150 games played and 66 starts by rookies in 2025. It was the most games played by a Titans rookie class since 2004 (176).
  • On the offense's first series of the game, the unit drove 58 yards on five plays, finishing with a seven-yard touchdown run by Cam Ward. It was the second game of the season in which the Titans scored a touchdown on their opening drive (Dec. 7 at Cleveland). On six additional contests, the Titans capped their first possession with a field goal.
  • The Titans offense allowed only one sack at Jacksonville. The unit allowed only eight total sacks over its last five games of the season (1.6 per game).
  • Three of the four starters in the Titans secondary made their first NFL start: cornerback Micah Robinson and safeties Jerrick Reed II and Sanoussi Kane.
  • The Titans defense notched a pair of sacks (Jeffery Simmons and Jaylen Harrell), marking its sixth consecutive game to reach the mark to end the season. It was the 13th time in 2025 in which the defense had at least two sacks. In the team's "Titans era" (1999 to present), 2025 was the third season in which the Titans registered at least 13 games with multiple sacks (14 in 2000 and 2021). Through the early slate of games on Sunday of Week 18, only Minnesota, Denver and the N.Y. Giants had more such games (14 for each) in 2025.
  • The Titans finished the regular season with 42 sacks, the most by the team since 2023 (45).
  • The defense allowed 64 yards on 24 carries to Jacksonville, holding them to a 2.7-yard average.
  • From Week 13 through Week 18, the Titans allowed 81.2 rushing yards per game, which led the NFL through the early slate of games on Sunday of Week 18. Tennessee's 3.3-yard rushing average allowed was also the best figure in the league during the same span.

QB BRANDON ALLEN

  • Made his Titans debut after Cam Ward exited in the first quarter with an injury.
  • Completed 17 of 30 passes for 72 yards.
  • Connected with Chimere Dike for a 21-yard gain in the second quarter.

WR ELIC AYOMANOR

  • Totaled three receptions for a team-high 50 yards.
  • Caught a 39-yard pass in the first quarter, which was a new career long.
  • Finished his rookie season with 41 receptions for 515 yards and four touchdowns. He ranked fifth on the team in receptions, second in receiving yards, and tied for first in touchdown catches.
  • Became the sixth rookie in franchise history to reach 40 receptions, 500 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns, joining Bill Groman (1960), Charlie Hennigan (1960), Jerry LeVias (1969), Kendall Wright (2012) and A.J. Brown (2019).

CB DARRELL BAKER JR.

  • Recorded three tackles while starting his ninth game of the season at cornerback, tying a personal best set in 2024.
  • Finished the season with seven passes defensed to rank third on the team in 2025. Also collected a career-high 53 tackles in 2025.

LB CODY BARTON

  • Recorded his 17th start of the season. It was the first time in his career he started every game.
  • Logged four tackles, finishing the season with 81 total stops, which tied for second on the team.
  • Finished the season with 11 passes defensed, tied with Foye Oluokun for the most in the NFL in 2025 among linebackers through the early slate of games on Sunday of Week 18.
  • His 11 passes defensed and three interceptions in 2025 led the team.
  • Through the early slate of games on Sunday of Week 18, Barton was the only player in the NFL to record at least 80 tackles, 10 passes defensed, multiple takeaways and a defensive touchdown in 2025.
  • Played 100 percent of the team's defensive snaps in 2025.

RB JULIUS CHESTNUT

  • With two special teams tackles, he increased his total to 17 on the season. That was the highest total for a Titans player since Tim Shaw had 19 in 2010 (GSIS tackle statistics).
  • Chestnut's 17 special teams tackles were the most for any NFL running back since Austin Ekeler had 17 with the Chargers in 2017.

LS MORGAN COX

  • Appeared in his 250th career game (regular season). He became the 64th NFL player all-time to do so.

WR CHIMERE DIKE

  • Caught three passes for 27 yards. He added a nine-yard punt return and a 20-yard kickoff return.
  • Caught a 21-yard pass from Brandon Allen in the second quarter.
  • The Pro Bowl selection totaled 2,427 all-purpose yards in 2025, including 1,588 kickoff return yards, 398 punt return yards, 423 receiving yards and 18 rushing yards. His total ranked third in franchise history for all-purpose yards in a season behind Derrick Mason's 2,690 all-purpose yards in 2000 and Chris Johnson's 2,509 yards in 2009.
  • Established the all-time NFL rookie record for all-purpose yards and had the most all-purpose yards in a season by any NFL player since Darren Sproles in 2011, who set the NFL record with 2,696 yards.
  • Broke the franchise record for single-season punt return average. He totaled 398 yards on 23 returns for an average of 17.3 yards per punt return. That number eclipsed Billy "White Shoes" Johnson's mark of 15.4 yards per return (35 for 539 yards) in 1977.
  • With a punt return average of 17.3 yards and a kickoff return average of 25.6 yards, Dike became the NFL's first player since Detroit's Jack Christiansen in 1952 (21.5 punt return average and 25.6 kickoff return average) to qualify with an average 17.0+ yards per punt return and 25.0+ yards per kickoff return in a season.
  • With 1,588 kickoff return yards in 2025, he moved into third place in NFL history among rookies, in front of the New York Jets' Justin Miller (1,577 in 2005). Only Arizona's Josh Scobey (1,684 in 2003) for second place and the Raiders' Chris Carr (1,752 in 2005) had more kickoff return yards as rookies than Dike.
  • Finished second on the Titans offense with 48 receptions in 2025 to go along with 423 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns.
  • Led the Titans in 2025 with six total touchdowns.

LB CEDRIC GRAY

  • Registered eight tackles, finishing the season with 160 tackles on defense. He tied with Stephen Tulloch (2010) for the second most tackles in a season since 2000, trailing only Azeez Al-Shaair's 163 tackles in 2023 (GSIS tackle statistics).
  • Through the early slate of games on Sunday of Week 18, Gray ranked third in the NFL in total tackles (Devin White, 168; Jordyn Brooks, 176)
  • Logged his 12th game of the season with at least eight tackles.
  • Also finished with seven tackles for loss, a sack, four passes defensed and two fumble recoveries during his sophomore season.

S ERICK HALLETT II

  • Finished with four tackles in his first game action in a Titans uniform.

OLB JAYLEN HARRELL

  • Totaled two tackles, including a sack.
  • During the first quarter, he brought down Trevor Lawrence for a sack on third down. It was Harrell's fifth consecutive game with at least a half sack, the first such streak for a Titans defender since Harold Landry III's eight consecutive in 2021.
  • Logged a career-high 4.5 sacks in 2025, all coming in the final eight games of the season.

P JOHNNY HEKKER

  • Averaged 48.6 gross yards and 47.4 net yards on five punts with two punts placed inside the 20.
  • Placed two punts inside the 20-yard line during the first half to give him 400 career punts placed inside the 20, passing former Titans punter Craig Hentrich (399) for seventh place in the NFL since the statistic has been tracked beginning in 1976.
  • In 2025, he averaged 46.8 yards per punt with a net average of 40.3 yards per punt. He placed 22 of his 78 punts inside the 20.

TE GUNNAR HELM

  • Inactive against Jacksonville due to an injury.
  • Amassed 44 catches for 357 yards and two touchdowns during his rookie campaign. Among franchise rookie tight ends, he had the most receptions in team history and ranked second in receiving yards behind Chig Okonkwo's 450 receiving yards in 2022.
  • Had at least one reception in all 16 games he played as a rookie.

S AMANI HOOKER

  • Did not play at Jacksonville due to injury, missing a game for the first time in 2025.
  • Finished second on the team in 2025 with 81 tackles, which also set a career high.
  • His 16 starts in 2025 set a career high.

DT CAM HORSLEY

  • Made his NFL debut.

OLB TRUMAN JONES

  • Logged five tackles and a stop for loss, as well as his first career pass defensed.

S SANOUSSI KANE

  • Logged his first NFL start at safety.
  • Tied for second on the team with seven tackles.

WR MASON KINSEY

  • Tied for the team lead with two special teams tackles.

TE DAVID MARTIN-ROBINSON

  • Contributed a 14-yard reception.

TE CHIG OKONKWO

  • Appeared in his 17th game for the fourth consecutive season. Okonkwo, Mo Alie-Cox, Luke Farrell and potentially Connor Heyward (Sunday night game, Jan. 4) were the NFL's only tight ends to appear in every game from 2022 to 2025.
  • His active streak of 68 consecutive games played for the Titans ranked second on the team at the conclusion of the season behind Morgan Cox's 85 consecutive games.
  • Caught two passes for two yards.
  • Led the Titans in 2025 with 56 receptions and 560 yards, to go along with a pair of touchdown catches.
  • Set career highs with 56 receptions and 560 receiving yards.
  • His 194 career receptions rank fifth in franchise history among tight ends, and his 2,017 receiving yards in a Titans uniform rank sixth among franchise tight ends.

RB TONY POLLARD

  • Started for the 17th time in 2025. It marked the second time in his career (2023) that he started every game. Over a three-season span, Pollard missed only one total game (2024).
  • Led the offense at Jacksonville with 48 yards on 14 rushing attempts and added three receptions for 17 yards.
  • In 2025, he led the Titans in rushing for the second consecutive season with 242 carries for a career-high 1,082 yards and five touchdowns. It was the second consecutive season in which he set a career high in rushing (1,079 yards in 2024).
  • Became the fourth player in Titans/Oilers history to rush for 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons with the club, joining Earl Campbell (1978-81), Eddie George (1996-00) and Chris Johnson (2008-13).
  • With 1,082 rushing yards in 2025, he recorded his fourth consecutive 1,000-yard season. Pollard and Derrick Henry were the NFL's only running backs to rush for 1,000 yards every season from 2022 to 2025.
  • Led the offense in 2025 with 1,288 scrimmage yards. It was his fourth consecutive campaign to reach 1,200 scrimmage yards.

WR JAMES PROCHE II

  • Contributed a five-yard reception.

S JERRICK REED II

  • Made his first NFL start at safety, recording five tackles.

CB MICAH ROBINSON

  • Made his first NFL start at cornerback.
  • Tied for the team lead with seven tackles, including a stop for loss.
  • Added two passes defensed.

DT JEFFERY SIMMONS

  • Recorded his career-high and team-leading 11th sack of the season, dropping Trevor Lawrence on the game's first play from scrimmage.
  • Broke Jurrell Casey's mark (10.5 sacks in 2013) for the most sacks in a season by a Titans defensive tackle in the franchise's "Titans era" (1999 to present).
  • Notched his 17th tackle for loss of the season, passing Jason Babin (16 in 2010) for the most by a Titans defender since 2008.
  • Finished the season (through early afternoon games of Jan. 4) leading all interior defensive linemen in solo tackles (39), sacks (11.0), tackles for loss (17) and forced fumbles (3).
  • He appeared in seven road games in 2025, and he had at least one sack in each of those games. It was the most road games with at least one sack in a season for the Titans/Oilers since individual sacks became an official statistic in 1982.

K JOEY SLYE

  • After making an extra point at Jacksonville, he finished the season with 28 made field goals on 35 attempts and 26 extra points on 27 attempts for a total of 110 points.
  • In 2025, he made a team-record nine field goals of at least 50 yards.

G PETER SKORONSKI

  • Started at left guard for the 17th time in 2025. It was his second consecutive season to start every game at left guard.
  • His 47 consecutive starts made up the team's longest active streak at the conclusion of the season.
  • Played 100 percent of the team's offensive snaps in 2025.

RB TYJAE SPEARS

  • Logged his first start of the season and the third start of his career when the offense opened in a two-back set.
  • Carried the ball three times for 18 yards and added a team-high seven receptions for nine yards.
  • In 2025, he totaled 72 rushing attempts for 283 yards and two touchdowns. He added 45 receptions for 264 yards.

NT T'VONDRE SWEAT

  • Logged two tackles.
  • Finished the season with 34 tackles and a career-high 2.0 sacks.

QB CAM WARD

  • Completed all three of his passes for 52 yards and rushed two times for 11 yards and a touchdown in his only series before exiting the game in the first quarter with an injury.
  • Logged the 17th start of his rookie season, joining Ryan Tannehill (2021) as the only Titans quarterbacks with 17 starts in a season since the NFL schedule went to 17 games in 2021. During the 16-game schedule era from 1978 to 2020, six Titans/Oilers quarterbacks (Warren Moon (three), Steve McNair (three), Dan Pastorini, Ken Stabler, Matt Hasselbeck, Tannehill) combined for 10 total seasons with 16 starts.
  • Delivered a 39-yard pass to Elic Ayomanor in the first quarter, leading to his seven-yard touchdown run two plays later. His touchdown run was the second of his rookie campaign.
  • His final statistics for his rookie season included 323 completions, 3,169 yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions on 540 attempts. His passer rating was 80.3. He also rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns on 39 attempts.
  • On 540 passing attempts in 2025, Ward threw seven interceptions. His 1.3 interception percentage stands as the best single-season mark in franchise history by all qualifying quarterbacks. He broke Ryan Tannehill's franchise record of 1.5 percent in 2020. Over the final nine games of the season, Ward threw only one interception.
  • His 540 attempts in 2025 were more than every quarterback in franchise history in a season other than Warren Moon, who had 655 attempts in 1991 and 584 attempts in 1990.

OLB JIHAD WARD

  • Notched three tackles.
  • In 2025, Ward tied his career high for sacks in a season and finished second on the team with five total sacks.

LB JAMES WILLIAMS SR.

  • Notched five tackles and a stop for loss, tackling Travis Etienne Jr. in the backfield for a loss of two yards in the second quarter.
