Titans-Raiders Week 6 Postgame Notes

TEAM NOTES

  • The Titans completed a three-game road swing. They will play five of their next six games at Nissan Stadium, beginning next week against the New England Patriots (Oct. 19, noon CT).
  • The Titans played for the first time in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium.
  • Two players made their season debut for the Titans: kicker Matthew Wright and cornerback Samuel Womack III.
  • Seven rookies participated in the game for the Titans. It marked the sixth consecutive week to begin the season in which seven or more rookies played for the team.
  • For the second consecutive week, the Titans defense allowed only 16 first downs, matching a season-low total by their opponents. Las Vegas' four rushing first downs also represented a season low by a Titans opponent.
  • The Raiders offense's 68 rushing yards, 158 net passing yards and 226 total net yards were the fewest allowed by the Titans defense in 2025.
  • For the fourth time in six games, the Titans defense kept their opponents at 50 percent or less in the red zone. The Raiders scored touchdowns on two of their four trips inside the 20.
  • Led by Jeffery Simmons and Oluwafemi Oladejo, who each had two tackles for loss in the first half, the Titans defense totaled seven tackles for loss in the first half. That is the highest total by the Titans in the first half of a game since Dec. 9, 2012 at Indianapolis (seven).
  • The defense finished with eight tackles for loss as a team, the fourth most recorded by a team in 2025 and the most for the Titans since Sept. 8, 2024 at Chicago.

WR ELIC AYOMANOR

  • Caught three passes for 27 yards.
  • Became the team's first rookie since Chris Johnson (2008) to record at least two receptions in each of the first six games of his rookie season.

LB CODY BARTON

  • Recorded his second interception of the season in the fourth quarter, picking off Geno Smith. He became the first Titans linebacker with two interceptions in a season since David Long Jr. in 2022. He is the only linebacker in the NFL to record at least two interceptions in both the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
  • Recorded three tackles.

S QUANDRE DIGGS

  • Recorded four tackles

WR CHIMERE DIKE

  • Totaled 66 yards on three kickoff returns and eight yards on a pair of receptions.

LB CEDRIC GRAY

  • Collected 11 tackles to lead the team for the third consecutive week and added a tackle on special teams.
  • Recorded a career-best two passes defensed.
  • Became the first Titans defender to record at least 11 tackles and two passes defensed in a game since Kevin Byard III on Oct. 10, 2021 at Jacksonville.
  • Became the first Titans defender with 11 or more tackles in three consecutive games since Azeez Al-Shaair from Oct. 8-29, 2023.

P JOHNNY HEKKER

  • Averaged 44.0 gross yards and 34.6 net yards on five punts (long of 53).

TE GUNNAR HELM

  • Totaled 15 yards on a pair of receptions.

S AMANI HOOKER

  • Notched three tackles and a stop for loss, dropping Raheem Mostert for a loss of two yards in the fourth quarter.

WR VAN JEFFERSON

  • Led the offense with 75 receiving yards on four catches.
  • Produced three receptions of 20-plus yards: a 20-yarder in the second quarter, a 23-yarder in the third quarter and another 23-yarder in the fourth quarter.
  • It was his first career game with at least three receptions of 20-plus yards.

OLB DRE'MONT JONES

  • Recorded his first sack as a Titan in the second quarter, dropping Geno Smith for a loss of eight yards.
  • Added five tackles and an additional quarterback hit.

DE SEBASTIAN JOSEPH-DAY

  • Finished with two tackles and a stop for loss.

T JC LATHAM

  • Returned to the starting lineup at right tackle after missing four games due to injury.

TE DAVID MARTIN-ROBINSON

  • Logged his second consecutive start and caught one pass for a one-yard touchdown.
  • Scored his first career touchdown on a one-yard pass from Cam Ward in the fourth quarter.

TE CHIG OKONKWO

  • Produced 46 yards on a team-high six receptions.
  • Converted a fourth-and-15 with a 20-yard catch in the fourth quarter.
  • Logged his fifth career game with six or more receptions.

OLB OLUWAFEMI OLADEJO

  • Tied for the team-lead with a career-high two tackles for loss. Brought down Ashton Jeanty for losses of three and five yards.
  • Added three tackles and a quarterback hit.

RB TONY POLLARD

  • Led the team with 34 yards on 10 carries and added two receptions for 13 yards.
  • Picked up 17 yards on a run in the third quarter.

WR CALVIN RIDLEY

  • Converted a third-and-10 with an 18-yard reception in the first quarter before leaving the game with an injury.

DT JEFFERY SIMMONS

  • Registered his third consecutive game with at least one sack by bringing down Geno Smith in the first quarter. It is the second such three-game streak of his career and his first since Oct. 9-30, 2022.
  • Has 4.5 sacks in 2025, tied for the most among NFL defensive tackles (Byron Murphy II).
  • Added six tackles and two quarterback hits with an additional stop for loss.
  • Became the first Titans defender since Brian Orakpo in 2016 with at least 4.5 sacks and eight tackles for loss in the team's first six games of a season. The last NFL defensive tackle to accomplish the feat was Cincinnati's Geno Atkins in 2018.

CB L'JARIUS SNEED

  • Notched a career-high 10 tackles.

RB TYJAE SPEARS

  • Gained 31 yards on five rushing attempts and added four receptions for 19 yards.

DT SHY TUTTLE

  • Appeared in his 100th career game (regular season, becoming the 74th player from the University of Tennessee to achieve the feat since the 1970 NFL-AFL merger.
  • Recorded two tackles and a stop for loss, stuffing Ashton Jeanty for a loss of two yards in the second quarter.

QB CAM WARD

  • Completed 26 of 38 passes for 222 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
  • Became the first rookie quarterback in franchise history to start the first six games of a season. Marcus Mariota was the only previous franchise rookie to start at quarterback for the first five games of a season.
  • Completed his first six passes of the game.
  • Converted a third-and-10 with an 18-yard pass to Calvin Ridley in the first quarter.
  • Connected three times with Van Jefferson on passes of at least 20 yards: a 20-yarder in the second quarter, a 23-yarder in the third quarter and another 23-yarder in the fourth quarter.
  • Converted a fourth-and-15 with a 20-yard completion to Chig Okonkwo in the fourth quarter.
  • Registered his third career touchdown pass on a one-yard toss to David Martin-Robinson in the fourth quarter.

OLB JIHAD WARD

  • Logged his first start of the season.
  • Registered three tackles, two quarterback hits and a pass defensed.

K MATTHEW WRIGHT

  • Made his season debut and connected on his first attempt of the season, a 46-yarder in the third quarter.

CB SAMUEL WOMACK III

  • Made his season debut and his Titans debut on special teams.

S XAVIER WOODS

  • Recorded six tackles, tying a season-high.
