NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Here's a look at the developments from the day:
-Kaiir Elam got the call from Tennessee around 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
Soon, the cornerback was on his way to Nashville to sign with the Titans.
"It's a blessing," Elam said after Wednesday's practice. "I really just want to come in and put my best foot forward and try and make plays."
The Titans added Elam earlier today, and waived cornerback Samuel Womack III.
A first-round pick (23rd overall) of the Bills in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Florida, Elam has played in 39 career games, with 19 starts, while playing with the Bills and the Cowboys. He's been credited with 110 tackles and two interceptions.
Elam (6-1, 191) was traded from the Bills to the Cowboys in March 2025, and he was waived last week. Elam played 460 snaps with the Cowboys this season.
"You just have to embrace the challenge," Elam said. "(I'm) a guy that won't take it for granted, and I really feel like my strength is playing man. So, challenging receivers and taking the ball away (are things I can do). I just want to come in, play aggressive and show that I can (play)."
