NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game at the San Francisco 49ers.
Here's a look at the developments from the day:
-Lloyd Cushenberry has missed the past two games with a foot injury.
On Wednesday, the Titans center was back on the field, working his way back to a return to action.
Cushenberry was listed as a limited participant.
"I am feeling good," Cushenberry said. "It feels good to be out there, trying to get back in rhythm and finish out the season strong. I've just been trying to do whatever I can in the training room.
"I tried to give it a go last week in practice and I just wasn't there yet. So, I'm trying to do whatever I can in the training room and getting ready to go. I can't wait (to return)."
With Cushenberry sidelined, Corey Levin has stepped into his spot at center.
Cushenberry offered praise for Levin, who is in his seventh season.
"Corey is the ultimate pro, and he is one of my favorite teammates in here," Cushenberry said. "He is always positive, always ready to help ever since I met him. He stepped in last week and did a great job, and he has been around here for a long time. I feel like he is the ultimate Tennessee Titan. It is great to see him have success."
Cushenberry chatted about his recovery, and the challenge facing the 49ers, in the locker room on Wednesday.

-Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons recorded his first career sack in the NFL against quarterback Philip Rivers.
Simmons reflected on that play while discussing Rivers, who at 44 years of age is back with the Colts.

-Cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (Achilles) was limited in practice.
-Tackle Dan Moore (neck) was a full participant.
-Tight end Chig Okonkwo (NIR-Rest) did not practice.
-Running back Tony Pollard (NIR-Rest) did not practice.
-DE C.J. Ravenell (toe) did not practice.
-Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons (NIR-Rest) did not practice.
-Defensive lineman Shy Tuttle (concussion) was a full participate.
-Linebacker James Williams (illness) did not practice.
-Guard Kevin Zeitler (NIR-Rest) did not practice.
-Practice squad receiver Xavier Restrepo, who left the team's November 30 game vs the Jaguars with an ankle injury, did not practice on Wednesday.
-The Titans are scheduled to practice on Thursday and Friday before holding a walkthrough on Saturday. The team is scheduled to fly to California on Saturday afternoon for Sunday's game vs the 49ers.
