NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to ramp up preparations for Sunday's game vs the Los Angeles Chargers.
Here's a look at the developments from the day:
-Four new faces were on the practice field on Wednesday – cornerback Micah Robinson, OLB Truman Jones, receiver Hal Presley III and cornerback Kemon Hall.
Robinson and Jones were signed to the 53-man roster off the practice squads of the Packers and Patriots, respectively, while Presley and Hall joined the team's practice squad.
Robinson jumped right into action, wearing No.21 – the same number Roger McCreary wore before he was traded to the Rams on Monday.
"(They told me) there were some moving parts around here, someone got traded, injuries," Robinson said. "They needed someone to come in here and play. I have been mostly an outside guy, but I can play both."
Robinson was once clocked a 4.38 in the 40.
"I will say that is one of my superpowers, my speed and my quickness," Robinson said. "I'm just going to come in, put my head down and work."
Below is a clip of Robinson after today's practice:
-The 6-foot-3, 255-pound Jones entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023 after playing in college at Harvard. Jones earned a Super Bowl ring as a rookie on Kansas City's practice squad.
Jones, named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year at Harvard, was an offseason award winner in New England after joining the team a year ago.
"It's been a quick transition," Jones said on Wednesday. "I found out Monday, packed up, and I knew I had to get here as quickly as possible, get in the playbook, try and meet the guys, and get rolling here."
In Kansas City, Jones was with former Chiefs assistant GM Mike Borgonzi, now GM with the Titans.
It's one of the reasons Jones believes he's now in Tennessee.
"I do think so," Jones said of Borgonzi. "He was familiar with my body of work in Kansas City, and we were relatively close there. So yeah, I think that's a big part of why I'm here."
