NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Friday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game at the San Francisco 49ers.
Here's a look at the developments from the day:
-The Titans wrapped up Friday's practice, and the good news is only one player has been ruled out for Sunday's contest.
Three of the team's starting five offensive linemen appear on the team's injury report, however.
Center Lloyd Cushenberry (foot), left tackle Dan Moore (neck), and guard Kevin Zeitler (groin) are all QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.
Zeitler did not practice on Friday.
Interim coach Mike McCoy was asked about the status of the injured linemen after today's practice.
"It's what we do," McCoy replied when asked about the challenge of piecing together an offensive line for Sunday. "You always prepare, that's why you have all the reps and that's why you stress to the guys the importance of … making the most of them because you never know when your opportunities are going to come up."
McCoy said Levin, who has started at center in place of Cushenberry the past two weeks, has worked some at guard in practices throughout the season.
On Friday, Cushenberry said he's made progress during the course of the week while recovering from his foot injury.
"I think it's been good, working my way back in," Cushenberry said. "I'm pushing through the discomfort still, but (improving)."
-Cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (Achilles) has been ruled OUT for Sunday's game.
Also, McCoy said running back Julius Chestnut will be the team's gameday captain for Sunday's game.
Now, for all the injury updates from Friday:
-Tight end Chig Okonkwo (NIR-Rest) practiced again and is good to go.
-Running back Tony Pollard (NIR-Rest) practiced again and is good to go.
-DE C.J. Ravenell (toe) practiced and is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.
-Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons (NIR-Rest) practiced again and is good to go.
-Defensive lineman Shy Tuttle (concussion) practiced again.
-Linebacker James Williams (illness) returned to practice and is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.
-Practice squad receiver Xavier Restrepo, who left the team's November 30 game against the Jaguars with an ankle injury, did not practice again on Friday.
-The Titans are scheduled to hold a walkthrough on Saturday before flying to the Bay Area on Saturday afternoon for Sunday's game vs the 49ers.
