NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports to continue preparations for Saturday's game vs the Texans at Nissan Stadium.

Here's a look at the Titans topics of the day in quick-hitting fashion:

-Quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.

Back-up quarterback Malik Willis is in line to make his third career start on Saturday in the event Tannehill can't play.

On Wednesday, Willis spoke to reporters in the locker room about his preparation. Remember, Willis made his first career start against the Texans back on October 30 in Houston.

"I think the previous experience helped a lot, as far as just knowing what it takes and knowing what your routine is going to be in order to prepare," Willis said. "It's different every week, who we play. But the way you prepare is the same mostly. It's just understanding what it takes and going out there every day. Now I get the reps a little more, and it's just about going out there and getting better."

Here's a clip from Willis speaking today:

-Quarterback Joshua Dobbs, who played in college at the University of Tennessee, practiced with the team for the first time since being signed to the active roster earlier in the day.

Dobbs has been assigned No.11.

Dobbs wasn't available to speak to reporters today – he's expected to address media on Thursday.

But here's a clip of Dobbs at practice:

-Defensive lineman Denico Autry, who suffered a knee injury in the Packers game and has missed the past four games, was back on the practice field today. He was listed as a full participant after being limited in practices last week.

Here's a look at Autry at work:

-Receiver Treylon Burks, who suffered a concussion at Philadelphia and did not play against the Jaguars or Chargers, also practiced today. Burks was listed as a full participant for the second straight day.

Here's a look at Burks:

-Linebacker Zach Cunningham, designated to return to practice from Injured Reserve last week, practiced with the team once again on Wednesday.

After wearing a yellow non-contact jersey last week, Cunningham has ditched the yellow pullover top.

The Titans would need to activate Cunningham by the end of the week for him to be eligible to play on Saturday.

-Cornerback Kristian Fulton, who suffered a groin injury against the Eagles and has missed the past two games, did not practice on Wednesday.

-Safety Amani Hooker (knee), who missed the Chargers game, did not practice on Wednesday.

-Cornerback Tre Avery, who suffered a concussion vs the Eagles and has missed the past two games, was back at practice on Wednesday. He was listed as a limited participant on the Injury Report.
