NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms on a contract with veteran LB Quentin Groves and waived LB Patrick Bailey.
The team also added three players to their practice squad, CB Ri'Shard Anderson, LB Dontay Moch and TE Orson Charles. Anderson was with the Titans during training camp; and both Moch and Charles were waived from the Cincinnati Bengals over the weekend. Charles (6-3, 254) was a fourth-round pick by the Bengals in the 2012 NFL Draft from the University of Georgia and has totaled 29 games of NFL experience with Cincinnati. Moch (6-2, 257) was drafted by the Bengals in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft from Nevada. He has five games of NFL experience with the Bengals and Arizona Cardinals.
Groves (6-3, 265) is a veteran of six NFL seasons, including last season with the Cleveland Browns. Over his 84-game NFL career, he has recorded eight sacks, with six totaled over the last two seasons, two career interceptions, 18 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He started his career as a second-round selection by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2008 NFL Draft. He played two seasons with the Jaguars before being traded to the Oakland Raiders. Groves played two seasons (2010-11) for the Raiders and then signed with the Arizona Cardinals for one year in 2012. Groves was a four-year letterman at Auburn, where he racked up 26 sacks and eight forced fumbles during his college career.
