Quick Hits After Thursday's Titans Practice

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Steelers at Heinz Field.

Here's a look at what happened on Thursday:

-With rain moving closer to the area, the Titans moved practice up on Thursday, and practiced outside. After a brief rain shower, the Titans got their work done in cool and windy conditions, but dry.

-The Titans practiced hearing some tunes they'll certainly hear on Sunday at Heinz Field – "Renegade" and "Black and Yellow."

-Linebacker Zach Cunningham, claimed off waivers last Thursday, practiced for the second time with his new teammates.

Titans defensive coordinator Shane Bowen, who coached Cunningham with the Texans, said Cunningham has looked good during his first few days with the team.

-Linebacker David Long Jr. (hamstring) did not practice again Thursday.

-Defensive lineman Teair Tart (ankle) did not practice again Thursday.

-Cornerback Jackrabbit Jenkins (ankle) did not practice again Thursday.

-Guard Rodger Saffold (shoulder) did not practice again Thursday.

-Defensive lineman Larrell Murchison (knee) did not practice again Thursday.

-Safety Dane Cruikshank (illness) did not practice again Thursday.

-Fullback Tory Carter (ankle) did not practice again Thursday.

-Outside linebacker Harold Landry (hamstring), limited in practice on Wednesday, practiced in full on Thursday.

-The Titans added OLB Derick Roberson (illness) to the Injury Report.

-Outside linebacker Bud Dupree, moved to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list on Wednesday, practiced again on Thursday. Dupree suffered an abdominal injury back on November 14 against the Saints and he hasn't played since.

This designation opened up a 21-day window for Dupree to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.

Dupree will not appear on the injury report since he's not currently on the 53-man roster.

-Ahead of what's expected to be a physical matchup on Sunday, the Titans practiced in pads on Thursday.

-Titans special teams coordinator Craig Aukerman did not attend Thursday's session due to a family funeral.

-The Steelers released their second Injury Report on Thursday, and it looked like this: DE Montravius Adams (illness) was placed on Reserve/COVID-19. CB Joe Haden (foot) and QB Ben Roethlisberger (pectoral/rt.shoulder) were limited in Thursday's session. LB Alex Highsmith (quad) was a full participant. TE Kevin Radar (hip) did not practice. LB Robert Spillane (knee) and LB T.J Watt (groin) were full participants. DE Isaiah Buggs (ankle) and T Zach Banner (knee) did not practice. DT Carlos Davis (knee) was a full participant.

-In addition to Titans OC Todd Downing and DC Shane Bowen, defensive lineman Denico Autry, tight end Geoff Swaim, cornerback Buster Skrine, linebacker Jayon Brown and running Jeremy McNichols all talked to reporters before Thursday's practice.

-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Friday before traveling to Pittsburgh on Saturday for Sunday's game against the Steelers.
