NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Titans quarterback and 2011 first-round draft pick Jake Locker will sign autographs and interact with fans at the Providence Kroger store (401 S. Mt. Juliet Rd) on Tuesday, Nov. 1 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Locker, the eighth overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, is currently learning under veteran signal-caller Matt Hasselbeck and is expected to lead the team as its starting quarterback in the future. Locker was impressive during the preseason, including the last game at New Orleans when he completed 15 of 17 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown, while rushing three times for 39 yards and another score.
Locker started 40 games in four seasons at Washington, completing 619 of 1,148 passes for 7,639 yards and 53 touchdowns (119.1 passer rating). He rushed 454 times for 1,939 yards (4.3 avg.) with 29 touchdowns, amassing 9,578 yards in total offense on 1,602 plays (6.0 avg.) and averaging 239.45 yards per game. He finished his career at Washington at or near the top of most of the school's passing and quarterback rushing charts.
