• 2023: Played in all 13 games with 1 start in the Cotton Bowl (18-264-14.7, TD).

• 2025: Second-team Associated Press All-American. First-team All-Big Ten Conference. First-team Academic All-American. Started 11 games (51-875-17.2, 9 TDs. 
• Mother, Ashley Griggs, was killed in a drive-by shooting in Chicago in July 2023. Tate blows a kiss to the sky after every TD in her honor.

• 2024: Honorable Mention All-Big Ten. Ranked seventh in the FBS with 1,805 all-purpose yards. He and Kaytron Allen became the first Penn State RB duo to each rush for 1,000 yards in a single season.
