We started with early morning TV and radio appearances beginning at 6 a.m. and a light breakfast two hours later Although a bit early, it was still relaxing to be able to have breakfast with an unbelievable view of the ocean!
After breakfast we began our first official practice of game day choreography. Immediately after, it was off to our rooms to freshen up, grab our bags and head over to the Mandarin Oriental Miami for lunch, hair and makeup. This is the location where the official 2010 Pro Bowl squad poster was shot on the hotel's beach front property.
After the photo shoot, we changed into white dresses, all complete with a new sash representing our NFL teams – then it was off to South Florida's ever popular South Beach for a little shopping and relaxation!
Apparently, white is the official color of attire for Floridians, so our city ambassadors made sure we fit right in and felt at home. Members of the AFC and NFC split into their respective groups as we toured the city, enjoyed refreshments beach side and later went downtown for shopping and dinner.
Our adventure landed us at several of Miami's ever popular spots such as the Versace mansion and Dash Miami, a clothing store made famous by the Kardashian family. Throughout the day, we enjoyed conversations with several NFL fans, many of whom had traveled from other states to watch Sunday's game.
Our evening ended with a group dinner prior to heading back to the hotel. At that point, all of us were ready to rest up for another action-packed day!
It's been an exciting experience so far. Stay tuned for my next report from the 2010 Pro Bowl!
