NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The St. Louis Rams are moving back to Los Angeles.

They'll leave behind memories for fans in St. Louis, and Tennessee.

The Titans and Rams will forever be linked together by Super Bowl XXXIV. The teams played a game to remember in the Georgia Dome, even if some Titans fans would like to forget the painful ending.

Snapshots of the five games played between the Rams and Titans over the years:

**

When:** October 31, 1999

Where: Nashville.

Score: Titans 24, Rams 21.

What happened: "The Greatest Show on Turf" showed up at Adelphia Coliseum unbeaten (6-0), but on a day when quarterback Steve McNair returned following back surgery, the Titans slowed them down.

But it wasn't easy. The Titans jumped out to a 21-0 lead before the Rams rallied. Rams quarterback Kurt Warner threw three touchdown passes in the second half, but the Rams missed a field goal that would have tied it late. Titans defensive end Jevon Kearse spooked Rams tackle Fred Miller, who was whistled numerous times for false starts.

Afterward, Titans coach Jeff Fisher awarded a game ball to the fans.

**

When:** January 30, 2000.

Where: Atlanta

Score: Rams 23, Titans 16.

What happened: The Titans fell behind 16-0, and Super Bowl XXXIV was shaping up to be a yawner.

Then, the Titans came alive in the second half, only to come up short.

Back-to-back touchdowns runs by Eddie George, and an Al Del Greco field goal, tied the game at 16-all before Rams receiver Isaac Bruce scored on a 73-yard touchdown pass from Warner.

McNair guided the Titans downfield, but receiver Kevin Dyson was tackled on the one-yard line by linebacker Mike Jones on the final play of the game, and the Rams celebrated as confetti fell from the ceiling of the Georgia Dome.

When: September 25, 2005.

Where: St. Louis.

Score: Rams 31, Titans 27.

What happened: In their first meeting since the Super Bowl, the Titans and Rams once again provided plenty of drama.

The Titans jumped ahead 10-0, but gave up 24 straight points to fall behind 24-10. McNair guided a comeback, which was aided by a fumble return for a touchdown by defensive end Antwan Odom.

McNair's pass to receiver Drew Bennett sailed out of the end zone on the final play of the game, however, as the Rams held on. McNair threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns in the game.

**

When:** December 13, 2009.

Where: Nashville.

Score: Titans 47, Rams 7.

What happened: The Titans intercepted Rams quarterback Keith Null five times in his first start as an NFL quarterback -- two each by Keith Bulluck and Cortland Finnegan, and one by Vincent Fuller, who returned his INT 45 yards for a touchdown.

The Titans got 117 rushing yards and 69 receiving yards from running back Chris Johnson, who scored three touchdowns. Titans quarterback Vince Young was 6 for 8 passing for 132 yards, including a short pass that Johnson turned into 66-yard score. But Young left the game early with a hamstring injury.

The Rams left Nashville with a 1-11 record.

**

When:** November 3, 2013.

Where: St. Louis.

Score: Titans 28, Rams 21.

What happened: It was Titans vs. Rams, but also Jeff Fisher vs. Mike Munchak.

The Titans beat their former coach – and many former Titans -- as Johnson led the way with 150 yards and two touchdowns.

The Titans wore a "Bud" patch on their jerseys and coaches wore a pin on their shirts in the organization's first game since the death of long-time owner Bud Adams.

The Rams wore throwback uniforms in honor of the St. Louis victory over Tennessee in the Super Bowl.

Former Vanderbilt running back Zac Stacy led the Rams with 127 yards and two touchdowns.
