NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans (3-2) return home this week to face the Baltimore Ravens (3-2) in a late afternoon matchup. Kickoff at Nissan Stadium (capacity 69,143) is scheduled for 3:25 p.m. CDT on Sunday, Oct. 14.
THE BROADCAST
The game will be televised regionally on CBS, including Nashville affiliate WTVF NewsChannel 5. Play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan and analyst Rich Gannon will call the action, and Steve Tasker will report from the sidelines.
The Titans Radio Network, including Nashville flagship 104.5 The Zone, will carry the game across the Mid-South with the "Voice of the Titans" Mike Keith, analyst Dave McGinnis, sideline reporter Amie Wells and gameday hosts Rhett Bryan and Jonathan Hutton.
Additionally, Sports USA will broadcast the game to a national radio audience. Play-by-play announcer Larry Kahn and analyst Hank Bauer will have the call.
TITANS LOOK TO BOUNCE BACK AFTER ROAD LOSS
The Titans took a three-game winning streak into Buffalo last week but were turned away by the Bills with a narrow defeat. Ryan Succop's 50-yard field goal—his fourth field goal of the day—provided the Titans a two-point lead with less than five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. However, the Bills answered with a 46-yard field goal by Stephen Hauschka as time expired to clinch a 13-12 win.
Succop, accounting for all of Tennessee's points, recorded his 11th career performance with at least four field goals and his second career game with two field goals from 50-plus yards. His 54-yarder tied a career high and tied for the seventh-longest field goal in team history.
Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota completed 14 of 26 passes for 129 yards. He also threw one interception.
Meanwhile, the Titans defense limited the Bills to 223 total yards, including only 79 passing yards. It was the lowest passing total by a Titans opponent since Oct. 8, 2017 (78 passing yards by the Miami Dolphins). Titans second-year cornerback Adoree' Jackson registered his second interception of the season.
This week the Titans will look to take advantage of playing at Nissan Stadium, where they have won 12 of their last 14 games. Following their battle with the Ravens, the Titans will have only one home game until Dec. 2.
THE RAVENS
John Harbaugh is in his 11th season as head coach of the Ravens. He has led the Ravens to a playoff berth in six of the previous 10 years.
Harbaugh's squad will conclude a three-game road swing this week. They won at Pittsburgh on Sept. 30 but fell at Cleveland last week in overtime. The only blemish in their first four games of the season was a loss at Cincinnati on Sept. 13.
Against the Browns, Ravens kicker Justin Tucker made his third field goal of the game to tie the score with less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter. However, the Browns used a 37-yard field goal by Greg Joseph with two seconds remaining in the extra period to secure a 12-9 victory.
The Ravens defense is currently ranked fourth overall in the NFL, allowing their five opponents an average of only 303.8 yards per game. Baltimore has given up 14 or fewer points in four of their five games.
AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY HOPE LODGE DRIVE
Prior to the game, fans are encouraged to participate in the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge Drive. At several collection sites near the stadium entrances, ACS volunteers will be collecting items that are needed most at the Hope Lodge, including paper towels, facial tissue, napkins, plastic utensil sets, coffee (regular or decaf), laundry detergent (no bleach) and Lysol wipes. The Hope Lodge provides housing free of charge to cancer patients and caregivers during their course of treatment in Nashville, reducing financial burdens and offering a supportive and safe environment where patients can focus on wellness.
