Gardi joins the Titans after most recently serving the past two seasons with the Washington Commanders as Senior Vice President of Football Initiatives. Prior to his time with the Commanders, Gardi spent 21 years at the NFL league office, holding the title of Senior Vice President of Football Operations for the last 10 years.

In his role as EVP, Football Operations with the Titans, Gardi will oversee Football Administration, Football Strategy and Analytics, Football Research, Football Information Systems, Video, Equipment, Team Operations, and Security.

Gardi will report directly to Titans General Manager Mike Borgonzi.

"We're thrilled to have Dave join us here in Nashville," Borgonzi said. "He's extremely respected around the NFL and brings a plethora of experience and valuable perspective, molded together by two decades at the league office, in addition to time on the club side of operations. Dave will make an immediate impact here with the Titans and we're excited to welcome him and his family to Tennessee."

As Senior Vice President of Football Initiatives, Gardi supported Washington's coaching staff and front office in several critically important areas, including in-game management duties, ensuring compliance with league protocols, analyzing officiating trends, and serving as a key liaison to the league office.

Before working in the football operations department with the league office, Gardi advised clubs on matters related to the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement, including player contracts, salary cap and league policies, among others.

A Sayville, N.Y., native, Gardi played quarterback for four years at Brown while earning a bachelor's in political science. He also earned a Doctor of Law degree from Hofstra University.
