NASHVILLE, Tenn. –** The Titans just wrapped up practice on Wednesday at Saint Thomas Sports Park.

On Sunday, the team will face the Arizona Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Rishard Matthews update**

Titans receiver Rishard Matthews practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday, but he remains a question mark for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

"As of right, now I don't know," Matthews said after practice. "But it feels good to be back out there with everybody. But as far as Sunday goes, we'll see."

Matthews has missed the team's last two games with a hamstring injury he suffered the week leading up to the team's November 26 contest against the Colts.

Matthews is second on the team in catches (41) and receiving yards (626).

"The guys have been doing a great job going out there and getting Ws," Matthews said. "The young guys have been stepping up, just like we have been doing all year and the guys we have, they've been doing what they need to do to help us win. I have been cheering them on from the sideline."

Facing Fitzgerald

The Titans have faced some tough receivers this season, and they'll square off against another one on Sunday in Arizona's Larry Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald leads the NFC with 82 catches. He has 1,207 career receptions, and needs just 26 yards to surpass Randy Moss for the third most reception yards in NFL history. In his career, Fitzgerald has 15,292 receiving yards.

Titans coach Mike Mularkey said Fitzgerald "does everything you can ask a receiver to do.

"His size, he is physical, he can run all the routes, and he is patient," Mularkey said. "He is very good with double moves, and he has great hands. Throw it anywhere around him and he can catch the football. He is as tough as I've been around when it comes to blocking. The run game relies on him – he is like another tight end the way he blocks. I have seen him block linebackers, I've seen him block defensive ends -- I've seen him block everybody.

"He is a special player."  

Injuries

Tight end Delanie Walker (ankle), cornerback Logan Ryan (concussion) and linebacker Derrick Morgan (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.

Ryan remains in the concussion protocol, and all of the players are "day to day," per Mularkey.

"You just have to go in stages," Mularkey said of Ryan. "He has a chance to practice tomorrow if it works out."
