NASHVILLE – We made it.
Well, almost.
The Titans kick off training camp on Wednesday, after coaches and all players report in the coming days.
Yes, it's still a long runway to the start of the season, but things are about to crank up.

Question: Hey Jim. First time writer here from basically the shadow of Lambeau Field. Not many Titans fans around here but I did see quite a few Ward jerseys at the draft last year. I am excited about the offseason moves... Saleh is a DAWG... just hoping his success as a D Coordinator flows into his head coaching position. Also jacked about Daboll - I feel he really connects with younger players and can get the most out of them. Question here is a loaded one - who are we taking in fantasy this year from our Titans??!
Jim: Hi Kevan. Glad to hear you're representing in Kaukauna. Oh man, I always hesitate to give fantasy advice, even though I consistently have one of the best teams in the media league I'm in 😊 (for entertainment value only). I'll just say I think receiver Wan'Dale Robinson is going to catch a lot of passes.

Question: Hey Jim. I am just curious about what you are thinking about where Will Levis will be by the start of next season? I really think it might be good to give him one more chance and see where he's at during the preseason, and if he's cut down on the mistakes maybe carry him over to the 53 man, or try to capitalize on any momentum he might have and trade him for a pick or two. Or do you think we'll move him before then? Because to be honest, he doesn't really have a future with us in my opinion. Thanks Jim
Jim: Hey Payton. This remains to be seen. Cam Ward is the starter, and Mitchell Trubisky is the 2. If the Titans keep three QBs, Levis would be the 3rd. But I don't know what other teams are thinking, or how interested they might be, in trading for Will. I guess injuries elsewhere could impact things. I've always said I think Will has talent, and I'd keep him because of his potential. A lot of folks thought he'd be traded during the draft, and that didn't happen. So, what happens moving forward? The best answer here is: Stay tuned.

Question: Good day to you Sir Jim Wyatt. I know so many changes this year. With all the changes I hope you will continue to be our Titans Senior Writer / Editor for years to come! I was watching Quarterback on Netflix and hearing some of the highlights with Coach Mac's voice kinda made it hit home. Rip Coach Mac. Im sure he's getting excited like all of us from above. I think it's going to be very fun season. Hope the fun translates into some wins!!
I Know a lot of fans were down on Coach Callahan. I am so pumped for Coach Saleh, and when the coach search started was my # 1 choice. After watching Quarterback seems like Callahan was a very good person, and obviously didn't work out. For sure made some in game mistakes that did not help his cause, but we all make mistakes, and wish him well. Was curious if you see a big difference on a day to day operationally between the two? To me Coach Saleh seems like the perfect fit!!

Jim: Hope all is well, Hunter. Well, I hope that's the case! I had similar thoughts watching the Netflix series – hard to believe Coach Mac is gone. As for Saleh, I think the team is going to benefit from not just his experience, but the experience of his staff. Callahan's lack of experience as a head coach showed up on some Sundays, and it didn't help that he had a young staff with first-year coordinators as well. Saleh's staff is experienced, with veteran coordinators, guys who have been head coaches. Things should be much smoother from an operation standpoint because of that. How he handles things in-season, or closer to the season, well, we're about to find out what it's going to look like because things are about to get a lot more serious and intense.

Question: Hey Jim, my question is how similar of a trajectory do you think the Titans could have this year compared to last years Patriots team? If you look at it the Patriots had a bad season the year before and made a lot of offseason moves just like the Titans did this year and flipped there roster and made a run in the playoffs. Just curious what trajectory you see the Titans having compared to that? Looking forward to Training Camp! Thanks Jim! TITAN UP!!!
Jim: Hey Kyle. The Patriots were one of several teams that made a big jump in 2025. Having a historically weak schedule certainly helped their cause. I suspect they'll slide back this fall. As for the Titans, I think team will be a lot better than the three-win teams in 2024 and 2025. What that means from a win-loss perspective, time will tell. A lot will depend on how the team fares in close games.

Jim: Hola, Adrian. Espero que todo vaya bien. Ese es el objetivo del ataque: encontrar el equilibrio. Y creo que los Titans cuentan con corredores capaces, como Tony Pollard y Tyjae Spears, para lograrlo. Mucho dependerá de la línea ofensiva, tanto en lo que respecta a la protección como al bloqueo para el juego terrestre. Me muestro reticente a aventurar cifras proyectadas para Cam, pero creo que mejorará su rendimiento. Que tengas un buen fin de semana.

In your opinion which players are going to draw extra attention during Titans training camp? Better yet, why?
Jim: Hi Ed. Well, no one is going to draw more attention than Cam Ward during camp. I'm sure you know how closely quarterbacks are critiqued, so all eyes will be on him. Carnell Tate is another, because folks are excited about him. The o-line will be watched closely, because I get the sense fans are curious about how things are going to go.
