Quick Hits on the Titans From Thursday of Colts Week

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Indianapolis Colts.

Here's a look at today's developments:

-Titans running back Derrick Henry ran for 76 yards and two touchdowns in this past Sunday's game against the Panthers, but to hear him tell it, he didn't do his job well enough.

"Let's just say I could have had a lot more (yards)," Henry said on Thursday. "I feel I could have had a lot more. I'm not too happy about it. Just watching it, learning from it, it's tough when there were opportunities I didn't take advantage of. Just grow from it, and try when the next game comes to take advantage of the opportunities."

The Panthers game will serve as Henry's motivation heading into this Sunday's game against the Colts.

Henry also hasn't forgotten about the October 8 contest against the Colts, when he ran for just 43 yards.

"43 yards makes you want to cringe," Henry said. "I have to be better. I have to play better. And that is going to be my main focus this whole week, just playing better and being efficient in the run game."

Henry has rushed for 100-plus yards in 10 of his last 12 AFC South rematches. However, the two contests in which he did not do so were against Indianapolis.

-I wrote a separate story on Titans receiver Chris Moore on Thursday. During the NFL's My Cause My Cleats campaign, Moore is sharing the story of his late son, CJ, who was lost to stillbirth in July 2020.

And he's chosen "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" as his cause. The organization takes remembrance photographs for families as part of their healing journey following their loss. Here's that story: CLICK HERE.

Here's a look at all the injury updates from Thursday:

-Titans receiver Treylon Burks was back on the practice field again on Thursday.

Burks practiced with the team on Wednesday for the first time since the week leading up to the Steelers game. Burks was carted off the field in Pittsburgh after hitting his head on the turf.

Burks was a full participant on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday.

-Linebacker Luke Gifford (shin), a limited participant on Wednesday, was limited again in Thursday's practice.

-Safety Terrell Edmunds (shoulder) was back at practice Thursday, and listed as a full participant. Edmunds missed Sunday's game against the Panthers.

-Guard Daniel Brunskill (knee) practiced again on Thursday, this time in full, after being limited on Wednesday.

-Quarterback Will Levis (ankle) practiced again on Thursday. Levis was a full participant Thursday after being limited on Wednesday.

-Receiver DeAndre Hopkins (NIR-rest) was limited in Thursday's practice.

-Defensive lineman Denico Autry (NIR-rest) was limited in Thursday's practice.

-Henry did not practice on Thursday, which has been a regular rest day for him.

-Cornerback Roger McCreary (foot) was limited in Thursday's practice.

-Quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) was a full participant.

-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Friday before holding a walkthrough on Saturday, ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts at Nissan Stadium.
