Biography

PRO: The Titans signed Tim Boyle during the 2025 offseason to bring experience and depth to the quarterback room. Prior to his arrival with the Titans, Boyle played in 23 games with five starts since originally entering the league as an undrafted free agent with the Green Bay Packers in 2018. The 6-foot-4-inch, 232-pound signal caller has completed 141 of 233 career pass attempts for 1,210 yards with five touchdowns. His most extensive action came in relief of Jared Goff with the Detroit Lions in 2021, when he started three games and threw for 526 yards and three touchdowns. Boyle has also spent time with the Chicago Bears (2022), New York Jets (2023), Miami Dolphins (2024) and New York Giants (2024).

TITANS TIDBITS:
• Boyle was the top-ranked quarterback in the state of Connecticut as a senior at Xavier High School in Middletown, Conn. During his senior year in 2013, he led the Xavier Falcons to their third consecutive state championship while throwing for 24 touchdowns. He earned Connecticut High School Coaches' Association Player of the Year honors and was named first team all-state by the New Haven Register and All-Hartford Courant.
• Titans quarterback Will Levis also attended Xavier, graduating five years after Boyle. Levis graduated in 2018, leaving with many school records himself. Boyle hosts an annual quarterback/wide receiver youth camp on the school's campus every summer and Levis visited the camp in the summer of 2024.

COLLEGE:
• Started 19 of 36 games played over five seasons at Eastern Kentucky (2017) and the University of Connecticut (2013-15). Completed 334 of 602 pass attempts for 3,371 yards and 12 touchdowns with 26 interceptions.
• As a redshirt senior (2017), started all 11 games and completed 201-of-327 passes for 2,134 yards, 11 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. His yardage total was good for the fifth-highest single-season figure in school history. Became the first EKU quarterback to surpass the 300-yard mark in a game in the season opener at Western Kentucky, completing 29 passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns.
• As a senior (2016), redshirted after transferring to EKU and did not appear in any games.
• As a junior (2015), appeared in all 11 games with one start in the season finale against Temple. Served as the Huskies' full-time holder and made an appearance at quarterback in five games. Finished the year completing 31 of 60 pass attempts for 281 yards and two touchdowns. Transferred to Eastern Kentucky the following spring.
• As a sophomore (2014), appeared in nine games at Connecticut and started the final three games of the season. Completed 43 of 82 passes for 335 yards and a touchdown. Threw his first career touchdown at Memphis (11/29).
• As a freshman (2013), appeared in five games with four starts at quarterback for Connecticut, connecting on 59 of 133 pass attempts for 621 yards. At Cincinnati (10/19), threw for 310 yards in his second career game action.
• Graduated from Eastern Kentucky with a degree in sports management.

PERSONAL:
• Attended Xavier (Conn.) High School where was named Connecticut High School Coaches' Association Player of the Year, first team all-state by the New Haven Register and All-Hartford Courant, All-Southern Connecticut conference. Led the school to its third consecutive Class LL state championship as a senior in 2012. As a senior, threw for 24 touchdowns and ran for five more. As a junior, threw for 15 touchdowns in just six games.
