Frank Byrne from Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania
Question: Been a fan since 78 and love the new logo combination with the Tennessee ties and classic colors. Love the team direction and new vibe this year. I have two questions: First what is the signing status of our draft picks? Second, when the new stadium opens what will be the plan for a parking/tailgate area? I intend to travel for a last game at Nissan Stadium, it will be the Steelers game since I am in a mixed marriage (Steelers fan), hope to see you there. Almost forgot that kid from Penn State (Nick Singleton) is a baller and absolute steal that late in the draft!

Jim: Hey Frank. Five of the draft picks have officially signed (G Fernando Carmona, RB Nick Singleton, DT Jackie Marshall, C Pat Coogan, TE Jaren Kanak), and over the weekend you probably saw where Carnell Tate has agreed to terms. I think that will officially be announced soon. That will leave two of the eight unsigned, but that will happen at some point, no worries. … When the new stadium opens, there won't be much room around it for tailgating, or parking for that matter. That doesn't mean there will be zero, but these are changing times. That's just the truth. The current stadium will be torn down, and a lot of the area around the new stadium will be developed. … Below is a look at the 2026 home and away games, btw. We'll see if your Steelers prediction, about it being the last game, is right. I think that was a prediction?
Home: Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Cleveland, N.Y. Jets, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington
Away: Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Dallas, Detroit, Las Vegas, N.Y. Giants

Lee Smith from West Palm Beach, Florida
Question: Hi Jim, Long time reader, First time asking you a question... My first question is probably not something many fans are even thinking about but after last year's draft the Titans biggest UDFA was Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson and I know Borgonzi and the staff jumped through circles to protect him from getting claimed. They obviously liked the player and because Tackles aren't the easiest to find they said they liked what he brought to the table and he needed to develop... So my question is has there been any indication on his progress? At the best I'd love to see him take Dan Moore's spot if things go wrong and at worst he can be the primary backup swing.
Another question is regarding the LB's currently on the team and I'm reading Barton could be on the trade block but with Gray and Hill basically penciled in who would take his spot? James Williams? I'll be honest I'm still a little confused on how Saleh's defense will be setup and in my opinion Barton seems to be the best one to be the Mike but I keep seeing people listing our LB's having two ILB's almost like a 3-4 defense but my point being is I would think his Wide-9 defense needs 3 starting LB's on the field so unless James Williams wins one of those spots I don't see how Barton could be someone that needs to be traded.
Anyway thanks for everything you do and the time you take to answer people's questions no matter how odd they might be. 😂

Jim: Hey Lee. Hope all is well in West Palm. I'll be down there, in North Palm Beach, with the in-laws this summer. They have a place near Singer Island. … I've kept an eye on Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, and he has made progress. But we really don't get a gauge until the pads come on. I don't expect him to contend for a starting spot – knocking Dan Moore or JC Latham out of the lineup just isn't going to happen, barring injury. So, BCD is competing for the swing spot. Heck, in reality he's competing for a roster spot. … And, I'm sure not going to say Cedric Gray and Anthony Hill are "penciled in." Not sure who is "reporting" Barton is on the trade block. I haven't seen it. I'd be wary of some of these "reports" or "ideas" floated out there in the offseason. I admit, I regularly see a lot of careless speculation on random sites, and it sounds like that's the case here.

Ronnie Chunn from Lewisburg, Tennessee
Question: Jim, I see these guys putting their hands over their mouth and waving their hand at the other players. What does that mean?

Jim: Hey Ronnie. I'm assuming you're talking about the "Zombieland" celebration made famous by Cam Ward. I've been told it symbolizes a "zombie" that is hard to kill while in celebration of a big play.

Caleb Gordon from Ledgewood, New Jersey
Question: Hey Jim, TITAN UP!!!!!! I have one question. How come Amy decided to go with the white facemask and not a red or even a blue? I do believe by doing so It would catapult the uniforms and make them POP. The consensus from the fans is that the facemask should be red or blue. What do you think Jim?

Jim: I actually prefer the white facemask. I understand some like the red, but I'm not in that crowd. The white looks cleaner imho.

Robert Anderson from Cookeville, Tennessee
Question: What is your opinion of Will Levis as a tight end? He's big, strong, has shown the ability to run, he understands the passing game and would be a threat to throw. Just a thought!

Jim: My opinion: Will Levis is a quarterback, and he has no business switching the tight end. The only question I have about Levis is if he'll be on the Titans, or somewhere else, this fall. As a QB.

Reuben Alvear from San Francisco, California
Question: Hi Jim. Like others, I was saddened to read that Coach Mac has left this life. I will miss his "Hell yes!!" when he called the Titans' games.
I have fond memories of my visit to Nashville in January 2022 when my brother and I attended the Titans final home game v Miami. You had recommended to me The Southern as a meal spot. The night before the game I ate at The Southern, and told my waitress that you sent me. She broadly smiled and said "Ahhh, yes!" and she then gestured to where "Coach Mac" liked to sit.

Jim: Well said, Rueben. And thanks for this story.

Jimmy Brewer from Texarkana, Texas
Question: Will the Titans go out and find a bigger running back via free agency before training camp not just to relieve Powell and Spears but also short yardage runs ?

Jim: Hey Jimmy. The Titans went out and drafted one on Nick Singleton, a 6-foot, 219-pounder who can be a bruiser. But guys like Kalel Mullings (6-2, 226) and Julius Chestnut (5-11, 228) will be competing, too.

Jerrod Houston from Casa Grande, Arizona
Question: Is there any chance that we're going to get Zeitler? Or Joey Bosa. Are they even on our radar?

Jim: Hey Jerrod. I suspect the team wants to further evaluate what it has currently on the roster, and then decide where it needs to make additions, and subtractions.

Celeste O'Neill from Tampa, Florida
Question: I am bringing my grandson to Tennessee in July. He loved Cam Ward at Miami and would really like to watch the Titans practice. When will that be taking place? We will be in Tennessee last week of July. We are about 3 hours east of Nashville but plan on making a trip for a day or two to Nashville.

Jim: Hi Celeste. Some things need to be sorted out from a scheduling standpoint, and an access standpoint. It's my understanding that training camp will start the week of July 27, maybe that Tuesday or Wednesday. But nothing is set in stone, and it's too early to know what things will look like from a fan viewing perspective. Those decisions likely won't be made until late June, or early July. Stay tuned.

Have a great week everyone!
