• Kerry Collins threw his 12th touchdown of the season and the 186th of his career when he connected with Justin Gage on a 34-yard scoring pass, extending Tennessee's lead to 10-0 in the second quarter.
 
• Just McCareins set a season-high with 6 receptions.

• Chris Johnson scored his 9th rushing touchdown of the season on a 21-yard run, giving Tennessee a 17-14 lead in the third quarter at LP Field. The run enabled Johnson to become the third franchise rookie to reach 1,200 rushing yards. Overall, there have been 12 prior 1,200 yard rushing seasons in team history. • Michael Griffin intercepted his team-leading 6th pass of the season and the 9th of his career when he picked off Ben Roethlisberger in the third quarter.

• LenDale White (15 rushing touchdowns) passed Eddie George (14 rushing touchdowns in 2000) for the second-highest single-season total in team history.

• Jason Jones registered his 5th sack of the season when he took down Ben Roethlisberger in the fourth quarter. It was Jones' 3.5th sack of the game.

• Michael Griffin intercepted his 7th pass of the season when he picked off Ben Roethlisberger in the fourth quarter and returned it 83 yards for his first career touchdown.
