NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans added WR Devon Wylie to the practice squad and waived LB Brandon Copeland to make room for Wylie, the team announced Tuesday.
Wylie (5-foot-9, 187 pounds) entered the NFL as a fourth-round draft pick in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He spent the entire 2012 season on the Chiefs active roster and totaled six receptions for 53 yards in six games. He also returned two punts and nine kickoffs.
Wylie was waived by Kansas City following this year's training camp and has spent time on the practice squads of Arizona and Pittsburgh.
Wylie played college football at Fresno State, where he played in 44 games, tallied 98 receptions for 1,327 yards and eight touchdowns. Additionally, he averaged 13.5 yards and scored two touchdowns on 41 punt returns and 20.8 yards on 16 kickoff returns.
