TEAM NOTES

  • After falling to the Colts by a final score of 41-20, the Titans will go on the road for three consecutive games: at division-rival Houston (Sept. 28), at Arizona (Oct. 5) and at Las Vegas (Oct. 12).
  • Former play-by-play announcer and "Voice of the Titans" Mike Keith was inducted into the team's Ring of Honor during a halftime ceremony. Keith became the 19th member of the Ring of Honor.
  • When guard Jackson Slater (fifth round) made his NFL debut, he became the eight member of the team's nine-man 2025 draft class to see action in 2025.
  • Eight of the team's nine 2025 draft picks participated in the contest, with the lone exception being third-round safety Kevin Winston Jr. The Titans had not had eight or more drafted rookies participate in a game since Jan. 1, 2017 against Houston.
  • Three players made their Titans debut: cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis, linebacker Kyzir White and offensive lineman Jackson Slater.
  • The Titans won the time-of-possession battle 31:19 to 28:41.
  • Quarterback Cam Ward and wide receiver Elic Ayomanor combined on a touchdown pass for the second consecutive week. Ward and Ayomanor became the team's first rookie-to-rookie connection to produce multiple receiving touchdowns in a season since quarterback Marcus Mariota and wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham did so four times in 2015.
  • In the second half, the Titans offense used 16 plays to go 77 yards for a touchdown on a drive that consumed 7 minutes and 47 seconds. It was the Titans' first touchdown drive of 16 plays or more since a 19-play touchdown drive at Houston on Jan. 3, 2021.
  • The Titans offense reached the end zone on both of its red-zone possessions.
  • The Titans defense limited the Colts offense to 25.0 percent on third down. The Colts converted twice on eight third-down attempts.
  • The Titans defense kept the Colts out of the end zone on two of their four red-zone drives (50.0 percent).
