NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Titans Cheerleader, Haley, was recently crowned Miss Mississippi USA, fulfilling a dream 18 years in the making.

The Mississippi native is a recent graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and concentration in Broadcasting and Public Relations. She competed in her first pageant at the age of five, and went on to become Miss Teen Mississippi in 2010.

Haley credits pageants for giving her the self-confidence she has today.

"I was a very self-conscious child, but pageants gave me an outlet to grow into the woman I am today," she said. "The interviews and swimsuit competitions made me feel confident in my own skin and empowered me to voice my opinions."

Haley will represent Mississippi in the Miss USA pageant this summer. The date and location have not yet been announced.

As Haley prepares for the next stage, she is humbled by the opportunity.

"To be crowned Miss Mississippi is a huge honor," Haley said. "I have been overwhelmed by the love and support I have received, and I cannot wait to represent my home state and the Tennessee Titans at Miss USA."
