Titans Agree to Futures Contracts with WR Jacoby Ford, WR Clyde Gates

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms on futures contracts with WR Jacoby Ford and WR Clyde Gates.

Ford (5-9, 190) was a fourth-round selection by the Oakland Raiders in the 2010 NFL Draft from Clemson. During his NFL career, he has 38 games of experience (all with the Raiders) and recorded 57 receptions for 848 yards, three touchdowns and three 100-yard receiving performances. Ford also has totaled 75 kickoff returns, including four returns for touchdowns, eight punt returns and 10 rushing attempts. During his career at Clemson, he won the 60 meter indoor NCAA Championship in track.

Gates (6-0, 197) was a fourth-round choice by the Miami Dolphins in the 2011 NFL Draft from Abilene Christian. In 32 NFL games, he has 30 receptions for 365 yards and 48 kickoff returns for a 24.9-yard average. He played his first season with Miami before being claimed off waivers by the New York Jets in 2012, where he played two seasons.
