NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The 2016 season is three-quarters over for the Tennessee Titans.

With a 6-6 record, the team has its sights set on the AFC South title. With four games left, the team is in the thick of things for a playoff spot.

Some pretty impressive individual and team performances are also playing out right before our eyes.

Let's take a look at where the Titans stand in some key categories after 12 games, and how things project for a full season:

**

Marcus Mariota's current passing yards:2998 **Projected through 16 games:3,997. At his current pace … Mariota would shatter his total from a year ago (2,818) and he'd break the "Titans era" record for passing yards in a season, set by Matt Hasselbeck, when he threw for 3,571 yards in 2011. Warren Moon holds the franchise record for passing yards in a season with 4,690 (set in 1991).

Marcus Mariota's current passing TD total: 25.
Projected through 16 games: 33.
At his current pace … Mariota would tie Warren Moon's touchdown total from 1990, and he'd be second to only George Blanda's 36 passing touchdowns in 1961.

**

DeMarco Murray's current rushing yards total:1,043. **Projected through 16 games:1,391. At his current pace … Murray would post his highest rushing total since he ran for 1,845 with the Dallas Cowboys in 2014, and it would be the highest total for a Titans running back since Chris Johnson's 2,006-yard season in 2009.

Rishard Matthews' current receiving yards total: 669.
Projected through 16 games: 892.
At his current pace … Matthews has already eclipsed his career highs for catches (48) and receiving yards. He'd shatter his 662-yard total from 2015 with a strong finish.

Delanie Walker's current touchdown total: 6.
Projected through 16 games: 8.
At his current pace … Walker would set a career-high for touchdown catches in a season. With six, he's already tied his mark set back in 2013.

**

Offensive line sacks allowed total:18. **Projected through 16 games:24. At the current pace … It would be the lowest sacks allowed since the 2011 season, when the Titans allowed 24 sacks. The Titans allowed 54 sacks last season.

Avery Williamson's current tackle total: 118.
Projected through 16 games: 157.
At his current pace … Williamson would easily finish as the team leader in tackles (Wesley Woodyard's 62 is second right now) and he set a new career-high.  Williamson posted 137 tackles in 2015.

**

Brian Orakpo's current sack total:9. **Projected through 16 games:12. At his current pace … Orakpo would set a new career-high for sacks in a season (he had 11 in 2009 with the Redskins) and he'd finish with the most sacks by a Titan since Jason Babin posted 12.5 in 2010.

Derrick Morgan's current sack total: 8.
Projected through 16 games: 11.
At his current pace … Morgan would shatter his career-high of 6.5 from the 2014 season.

Defense's current sack total: 30.
Projected through 16 games: 40.
At the current pace … The Titans defense would record the most sacks since the 2010 team also finished with 40.
